there is toreador, ruiner 2000, stromberg, vigilante, deluxo and scramjet. I think those are all the missile-firing cars?

I have money to buy only one

which one is the best and why? which is the number 1 out of those 6

I appreciate serious answers

I believe the Toreador and Stromberg are the only vehicles that can take more than 1 missile. They also can both go underwater.

Personally, I think the Deluxo is the best. It's great for grinding and in missions, and it can be a semi-decent way to travel the map. I have all the vehicles listed, and I use the Deluxo frequently, the Scramjet sometimes, and the other 4 almost never.

And I may be mistaken, but I also think that they all have very similar missile tracking, so it's really just dependent on what want out of the vehicle.

Deluxo is a good car for grinding but if you're going for that route, you can get a CEO Buzzard for way cheaper...Or fork out some more cash for the OP Mk2.

I say the best car with missiles is the Toreador because it's the best counter we have against Mk2...Though I dont consider it as one, seeing as it's not in the same level of it, the OP Mk2 has countermeasures while all the other cars dont, so that alone puts it on the top of the food chain.

-Toreador has a regular car blip(which translates in a false stealth mode).

-Rocket boosts that helps it get out of trouble.

-Can work as a Submarine and be stored in the Kosatka.

-Can survive about 3 or 4 RPGs and a bunch of homing missiles.

-Can seat 4 players, good for contact missions.

The sheer fact that the Toreador has infinite missiles, shows as a normal car on the radar and can take multiple direct hits from Oppressor missiles means it is definitely the best out of the options (and there's also the option of using it to get a free 75k every single day if you have the Sonar upgrade to the Kosatka by getting the 10 daily submerged packages) - in fact I often use it to tease jet griefers by simply circumnavigating the map collecting packages after calling them out on their activities.  To date only one jet griefer has ever managed to kill me in it (all the others either ragequit or claimed I was "camping" - even though I was clearly moving around the map - they just weren't happy they couldn't get me)

My vote will be for Toreador as well, it's even can be used in heist setups. But keep in mind that from Scramjet you can fire regular guns, not only missiles. Might be useful in missions, although scramjet doesn't have any bullet/missiles resistance. Ruiner 2000 doesn't really worth to buy is you don't have a lot of money. It's great only for one VIP mission  "Fully Loaded".  When you got Ruiner in this mission it has unlimited missiles, it's as strong as Insurgent and cannot be locked by homing missiles. For 15 min you can easily destroy all Opressors MKII you see in the map : ) Regular Ruiner is a Pegasus vehicle, has only 7 missiles (best ones though) and can be blown up with 1 RPG.

Deluxo can fly but it painfully slow in the air in my opinion, I rarely use it. If you don't set just on a car - you can look up Thruster reviews on youtube, it has I think 30  missiles, flares, can be landed in very tight spots and can be called from mechanic like a regular car. And if you go straight at full throttle small missiles from cars and MKII  will blow up behind Thruster, so you can easily avoid MKII griefers. The only negative that if you shot off the thruster with small arms it falls down and you pay 20K insurance like it's your fault that it's destroyed.

Stromberg is an outdated version of Toreador, basically it's the same car but with no boost, no sonar and seats only 2.

Ditto for the Toreador, plus it's also a four door submarine so if you have a free roam event or heist prep that has three or more submerged packages, you can grab them in one swoop. Well assuming you have passengers.

thanks for the answers

does anyone know the armor difference between Stromberg and Toreador? can they take the same amount of missiles/RPGs? and are the missiles they shoot equally powerful?

if the armor of Stromberg is better, then I think I will buy that one even tho Toreador is 4 seater with boost. the Stromberg has the best looks imo of all the cars I listed

Yes, the Toreador does indeed have sonar - but ONLY if you've purchased the sonar for the Kosatka.

In terms of armour, I believe that other people have tested it and I think both the Toreador and Stromberg have the same armour and can take the same amount of oppressor missile hits (6, I think - it's so rare for me to get hit in mine nowadays, lol)  The Toreador's weapons are also identical to the strombergs.

As far as I know and from what has been mentioned around here, no armor difference. Toreador's lock-on range slightly lower than Stromberg's.

The Deluxo can fly and the Toreador is just boosting. So you gotta pick the Deluxo.

It's a bit more complicated, the Toreador can go underwater, is more durable, has unlimited missiles and can be used in missions. Best thing is to have both ;)

All of them except the Vigilante and Scramjet can be modified in LSC.

I thought the Deluxo had to be modded in the MOC?

The Toredor has the most tuning options, designs and the like. For the money of either cars you could buy a Kosatka and easily afford both soon (and everythink else in the game) if you know what you're doing.

Only the weapons I think, colors and wheels you can mod everywhere.

Sentinel Driver

Both Toreador and Vigilante can be used in heists so that's a plus. The toreador is probably more practical for having unlimited missiles, being easier to drive than the vigilante and having some explosive resistance. The vigilante is fun though when you crash into others you send them flying.

Yeah the Vigilante is great for ramming stuff. And launching cars etc from a standstill using the rocket. Oh and for pretending to be the Dark Knight.

But the Toreador has it beat in nearly every other way imho.

Also some OG heist set ups take place off the main land, (EMP,Coke,Signal maybe some more) and the Toreador is the only pv that can reach them.

I have both but since getting the Toreador the Stromberg does not get used anymore,

I do think the Stromberg has one advantage tho I think it gives more bullet protection than the Toreador because the window's total area is smaller I feel like I get shot easier in the Toreador.

And as you say subjectively the Stromberg may look better. (the Toreador's has grown on me over time tho)

But in every other way the Toreador is better.

Toreador by far.

- Stromberg: Toreador but worse

- Vigilante: Toreador but a lot worse

- Scramjet: a super fun car but not very practical, only buy if you want to crack up laughing by jumping around the city

- Ruiner: outclassed by every single missile car that came after it (with one important caveat--owning it lets you start the job Fully Loaded, and the Fully Loaded version of the Ruiner is gross)

- Deluxo: unarmored, so slow in flight that even regular homing missiles often hit it, basically just a much worse Oppressor Mk II.

Of all these dumb things, the Mk II and the Toreador are easily the two most worth owning, each with their own distinct advantages. Save up for them both and treat the rest as the luxury/goof-off vehicles they are.

One extra note here - the Stromberg can use the sonar in ANY water at all - even in the storm drains.  As long as the wheels are in water - it doesn't matter how deep or shallow - you'll be able to ping the sonar across the whole world map.

EDIT : The Toreador - not the Stromberg.

RIP my beloved Scramjet, because it's the Toreador, sadly.

This is unless you're talking PVE, in which case rolling up on a bunch of enemies will get you shot through the 600 windows, so pick any of the others. But in that case you're unlikely to be wanting missiles anyway.

Yeah I like the Vigilante in the PacStan Convoy setup. I don't know if they did something to those Mesas but even they are seemingly bullet proof ike the Insurgents. I dont remember them being that hard to blow up before. The Vigilante makes the mission easier with the new younger payers who let's be honest are pretty hopeless, so it's good for taking down the Savages too while the kids just carry on driving and getting shot at without even thinking to take them down.

I didn't test it myself, but I got an impression that stromberg and toreador have the same armor. I think to be sure you can check out youtube comparisons.
