JCardoso
What are horse coaches and what they do and where to find? Krommer
Krommer
Horse coaches are the ones you see driven by NPCS, such as coaches with people in them. A really good place to see lots of them is in St. Denis. They even have fancy ones, which I think still count for the "miles by coach" awards, such as "milk wagon." For the purpose of the player "award" "miles driving a coach" (or whatever), any of those work or even a "NPC wagon" plus your "Hunting Wagon" and "Bounty Wagon" (plus even the Trader delivery wagon on missions, or any NPC given mission where you drive a wagon.) For the purpose of the "award" "miles ridden as a coach passenger" (or however it is phrased), being a passenger in any of the NPC ones or in a "Hunting Wagon" or "Bounty Wagon" (or again, even the Trader delivery wagon on missions) works (or again, riding as a passenger in an NPC "escort/protect' mission works, such as that telegram one where you can ride as passenger (that is a great one for that, though the third one and beyond is always just "free-aim" =/ .)) Players can also "cheese" the "coach passenger miles award", with some wagons; with some of the wagons you can just shoot a gun in the air, with you just in the back, and that will cause the horses to keep running (following the road, too.) I tried with a regular NPC "typical passenger coach" coach, sitting in the back, but it would not work (but lots of wagons will, if it is possible to stand in the back/whatever.) I find it very laborious to do, so I prefer that "telegram" mission now that I've switched to the stamina ability "Iron Lung" as well as my dead eye to "Slow and Steady"; even though I'm bad at free-aim, I usually don't ever die.
