Is there any way to make trainerv show/hide with the same key without it acting weird?

I've tried it both bound to the same key but it disappears and appears again.  All other menus let you show and hide with the same key.  Is there any way to make it like this or am I stuck having to press the one key a few times before it stops hiding and showing up again?
