A modder gave me lots of money, help!

I know that you are suprised in the title of this thread, because I'm not happy that I have 2 million dollars on my first day in GTA Online. Why am I not happy? Reason: Rockstar can track your in-game cash and they will be suprised that I get lots of $40,000 in the game. Some modder just spawned bags on me that contains $40,000 and even I'm trying to avoid it, I still collect them. I am now scared because I might get banned by Rockstar. Please help me, thanks

If you are worried then start a ticket on rstar support, and ask them to remove the funds.

They might not do this straight away so keep the funds to one side and do not spend them. At least it will cover your back.

But I doubt there is much to worry about, and the funds may be removed automaticaly next time they do a cleanup.

Not really, no.

 

If character transfers were still a thing (which they haven't been for a few years) then Rockstar would be more active with PS3 security and updates.

A double negative can be interpreted as a positive.

 

OT: you don't need to worry about anything on PS3, Rockstar don't care. Your character is stuck on PS3 anyway, because transfers are disabled.

Same in British English. If you say "I didn't do nothing" it implies you did do something, or something that's described as "tiny small" might actually be big. Kinda confusing but then that's the English language in a nutshell. 

 

I don't think it's really a double negative here though as usually that's formed within a single sentence - it seems more of a lack of understanding. If you change the question to "Should I worry" then a simple no answer couldn't be construed as implying a positive.
