Rockstar Games does have some staff or community members on these forums, but it's still a fan forum at the end of the day so it's not likely much gets read. Welcome to the forums though! whywontyoulisten Posted April 5, 2021 Share Posted April 5, 2021 If this were story mode it would make sense to open up the island after you "defeat" El Rubio, but the best we can hope for is for R* to enable creator jobs/races. I read an arealier post in a previous topic that the island is essentially a glorified interior. I would expect in a few updates time for the island to be opened up to other game modes such as deathmatches/slashers/parachuting events. dieseltech20 Posted April 5, 2021 Share Posted April 5, 2021 Yesterday I was able to freely explore the island after delivering the stones to that annoying dave motherF&*(%$. Calling me non ^&%$#@( stop until I finally clicked YES. No guards or anything. That said, play on PC and you can explore the island any time you want.
