will GTA 5 Expanded & Enhanced break all mods?

hey guys, i got a question here

will the upcoming gta 5 expanded and enhanced edition break all community made mods? i mean, i know that they are reworking the graphics and some animation, but how that can affect some old mods done? that would be sad, since some mods still work without their creator's update

what is your opinion about it?

I have no doubt it will. It's likely going to be running a completely different build of Rockstar's engine and formats may have to be researched all over again depending on how far they take it. I suspect they'll make it a separate purchase and leave the current PC version alone however.

Yeah I'm interested in the OpenIV side of things if E&E is actually a substantial update (say, V in the RDR2 version of RAGE), and actually comes to PC. I wonder if already having most of GTA V decompiled (knowing where the files are, what they're called etc.) will help in any way, as well as the work being done on RDR2 with OpenIV assuming V E&E uses the same encryption. I'd expect the .RPF encryption to be different, but the actual layout and structure of files I don't expect to be too different.
