GTA SA crashes whenever i load a saved game, it happens when loading a save before modifying it heavily; i used this video and all the mods; following their tutorials. 

 

whenever i make a new game, it will load and i can play, but i want to be able to play my previous save because im close to finishing the main story and don't feel like restarting up until that point.

Save compatibility is usually determined by the script version. The error that you have reported would be expected if your mods include a modified main.scm. If you upload a save GTASnP.com it can detect v1 or v2 scripts for San Andreas.

 

If your old save is v2 and a new save is v1 then SnP can convert the save versions.

 

If your new save is unrecognized then you might be able to play your old saves on your modded game by restoring the appropriate main.scm and script.img.

 

Consider installing an extra minimally-modded copy of the game to use with your old saves, to have as a backup, and to reference as a baseline for your mods.
