GTA Online Racers, Sound Off!

How many of you GTA Online racers are still out there racing in 2021?

Still racing as often as I am able to with how busy life seems to get these days.

PSN: JohnMathews390 (Racing competitively since 2013!)
From PS3, PS4, PS5, and a small amount on PC and Project Homecoming as well!
(used to be GOOBER_John390 on PSN up until about a year ago)

I used to but finding people in races on PC is not easy. I really don’t find many people doing anything outside of free roam. Matchmaking doesn’t seem to work as well as on consoles.

On PC most racing seems to happen in the 'stunt race' category, if you still cant find people there then just make sure you are on free aim (biggest portion of PC players is)

I stunt race and play on free aim and still get nothing. No one ever joins a thing that I try. Heists, races, jobs, etc. I just sit there waiting until I give up. 
 

It’s very strange. On PS4 I just open matchmaking and hit the auto invite. Lists full of player names will pour by and people slowly join. Do it on PC and get nothing. It will invite the players in my session, ONE time. After that I never see another name.

That used to be the case but haven't worked in ages for me, no other "tricks" have worked lately either. Join through quick job and I get in a full lobby relatively fast so my conclusion is that matchmaking is just broken for me..

I enjoy some of the racing circuits such as the Hotstring, Open Wheel and Cunning Stunts. When I play with friends, I just enjoy the thrill of a good, close race and don't care about winning or losing. In public races though, I aim to win...I'll race clean unless some jerk wants to get rough then I will gladly ruin his/her day. 

 

I have more fun racing on my own custom tracks. I play on Xbox though.
