Smoke3723
If like me you're new to Rockstar Games, here's a helpful guide to installing GTA V Premium on your PC: Purchase GTAVP from the Epic Store (because it's not available through Steam) Download the 180+ GB payload. Install GTAVP through the Epic Store. Discover that you have to install the Rockstar Marketplace -- sorry, Social Club to proceed. Notice that R*Social uses the Steam APIs and wonder why GTAVP couldn't just be sold through Steam. Install R*Social. Discover you can't create a new account through your newly-installed R*Social app (Step 10 offers a clue why), and that you have to launch your web browser and go to https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/ to get one. Sign up to R*Social with a valid e-mail and confirm the account. Launch GTAVP through Epic (again) You will come to a screen asking to link your R*Social and Epic accounts. However, there are no scrollbars or widget controls on this screen so you'll have to use the Tab key to select one of the (to you, invisible) buttons and hope it's the confirmation button. Tab-select the first item after the (visible) link and press Enter. This will return you to Epic. Launch R*Social. You will return to the screen asking to link your R*Social and Epic accounts, because you selected the wrong button at Step 11. Fortunately, this screen will allow you to see the confirmation button and select it. When R*Social loads you'll be able to select GTAVP and launch it (for the third time). The game will crash because your 8 GB graphics card is apparently not enough to run the game. Re-launch GTAVP (4th time) for it to start in low-graphics mode. Fiddle with the graphics controls and discover the reason the game crashed before was because the game was over-rendering at a scale even Fugaku couldn't handle. Restart GTAVP (5th time) with your corrected graphics settings so you can actually see what's on the screen. In the future, in order to launch GTAV do the following: Launch either Epic or R*Social and select GTAVP from your library. Regardless of which launcher you select, the other one will auto-launch. So if you launch from R*Social the Epic Store will load (and vice-versa). At every launch, you will need to provide R*Social with Administrator permissions so it can....do stuff, I guess. Before I go, a couple of additional points: You can't use your R*Social login to access the GTA Forums, so you'll have to sign up to those seperately if you want to express an opinion on the install process. Later in the game, you'll learn you can train a pet by using the GTAV iFruit app. But this app hasn't been updated since Los Santos hosted the Olympics and you won't be able to log in -- no matter what platform you're using. I hope you find this useful! Enjoy GTA V Premuim!....
