ilivehere
I made a fresh install on an external game drive from an .iso that is a copy of the GTA SA DVD that I made a while back. It always worked for me in the past but now Im having a few issues on windows 10. First, the opening video clips of the rockstar logos dont show, all I see is a really grayed out nvidia logo, same happens when I skip to the intro video. Second, my mouse does not rotate the camera in game. I can use the left mouse button to skip the intro videos and the cursor will move on the start menu, but I cant click anything in the start menu, I have to use the enter key to select an option from the start menu like New Game or Load Game. I've tried setting the CPU cores to just CPU 1, tried adding the dinput8.dll file to the game directory, added the same dll file to both system32 directory and syswow64 directory. Nothing has worked. I had a copy of the 'No CD fix' and that worked fine. Havent tried the version downgrader yet (i have both hoodlum and compact files), I wanted to try to get the controls and graphics setting set up first. I would appreciate any help!! thanks Edited March 29, 2021 by ilivehere

DefyReality
Fix: in Task Manager - Details, right click on gta_sa.exe, click on Set affinity and check only one processor. BrainDeadRaven
