elwero
For me that would be South LS, whether it's roleplaying, map modding, whatever, although I kinda fed up with the over the top stereotypical black people and the god damn "KEEP ON STRUGGLING YOU HEAR" lol What area on the map you 'abuse' the most? Cutter De Blanc
Route 68/ Harmony area probably Tough to say though, after 7 years this is like asking me what my favorite room in my house is I'm also very partial to Forum drive, and that whole area around Grove St Edited March 27, 2021 by Cutter De Blanc elwero and Lemoyne outlaw
Average white guy
I have several. Mirror Park, Vinewood, Vespucci Beach, Harmony, and the Western/Great Ocean Highway between Chumash and Paleto Bay.

Raelexx
Paleto Bay forest, the sand dunes and hill near the U-Tool, Stab City (where my MC is based so its fun there) and probably East LS where its all industrial up towards the N.O.O.S.E HQ. D T
Galileo Observatory holds a special place in my heart because it was my favorite place to go as a kid living in LA. It's probably the most well done landmark in the entire game, though it's unfortunate the rest of Griffith Park was not recreated. That alone would've been far more fun to explore than Paleto Forest and Grapeseed combined. It's such a shame more than half the map has nothing to do LS at all and consists of mostly fictional countryside. Thejeffster
Besides Sandy Shores? Probably Mirror Park, since it's really the only cookie cutter suburban area in the game that you see besides maybe South Central.
AutisticTorch
Mirror Park. It's unique and stands out from the rest of LS, and it has character.

PatchAdams2000
Paleto Bay. I have my MC and a house/garage there. The police station spawns a heli with guns/rockets. Great place to start when you log in. It's fairly remote from other players so you don't immediately get wasted right after you walk out the house. shadyslady
Chumash could be cool with a house but only a bunker option. I pick paleto bay
Crowhazard
The stretch of wilderness just south of Paleto Bay. Paleto Forest, I think. Do admittedly think it was too small, but I try to enjoy what we ended up with in the end. Feels really distant from the rest of civilisation, especially late at night. Moody and atmospheric. I’m also fond of Vespucci Beach and the surrounding blocks. Nice to just soak up the sun as you walk around.
billiejoearmstrong8
Due to pure laziness, often just the areas outside the safehouses and hospitals. When I'm not being lazy: Chamberlain Hills and Davis especially at night, there's a great menacing atmosphere when walking through those housing projects with courtyards. The port/industrial area in the south, fun to explore and again a cool and authentic atmosphere with the sounds and the waves coming up and hitting the concrete, and even after getting a parachute you can do high dives off the structures around the Terminal area. Sandy Shores and the desert in general. The countryside area starting at the big orange behind Vinewood Hills, and rural the area around where it rolls down, also Tongva Hills where it's cool to follow the river from the springs in the hills, through the waterfalls and rapids all the way down to the marshy area below Fort Zancudo. I go everywhere really but those are some of my favourites. Also having just been playing LA Noire next time I play I'll be keen to visit the equivalent areas and check out what similarities I can recognise. It's pretty different considering LS is only loosely based on real Los Angeles with a very condensed layout that leaves areas out and moves some things, and LA Noire's Los Angeles is the 1947 version and is a to-scale slice of part of the city rather than a condensed recreation of the whole city, but there's some there. I believe the part LA Noire is based on would go from NW to SE from Vinewood, through parts of Little Seoul, Hawick, Alta, Downtown, Pillbox Hill, Mission Row, Legion Square, part of the industrial area and across the LS river to El Burro Heights. So yeah that's where I'll be going next. Edited April 13, 2021 by billiejoearmstrong8
Killerman29
Vinewood hills and surroundings are very well done, but my favourite zone is great ocean highway, is the only highway in the game that feels that you are traveling to somewhere, and of course paleto bay, the only place in the game that feels islolated from the rest of the map, it's a shame that doesn't have a proper forest Edited April 14, 2021 by Killerman29
ArthurZussman
The northeast side of the map, the part where is the lighthouse, the pond and forests. I really like that area
Guest
Probably going to sound boring but Los Santos itself, mostly Vinewood. The top part of the map is quite boring after a while for me. There isn't much to it.
seventhreeo
vespucci, easily i'm generally one of those people that criticise how weird and disproportionate los santos is (and still annoyed that they missed out long beach/east beach) but vespucci seems like a part that they did correctly
