WanteD1 Posted March 27, 2021 Share Posted March 27, 2021 (edited) Everyone calls him crazy or Psycho! wtf! soft boys can't understand this character! because they had a very good life with good parents in a high class life! never had a problem in their life! Trevor is so kind and emotional! Just look how he act when finds out Michael's daughter is in a celebrity's dirty hand! But since he had bad parents and had a hard childhood/life he can't/don't know how to control his emotions! It's clear kids/people were bullying him since he was a kid for different reasons like maybe because his mom was a whore! When you see trevor's mom for the first time it says a lot about trevor's actions! and when franklin laughs at him it's clear he is suffering from a bad childhood! When you see Michael or Franklin in a cutscene It doesn't give you something to think about like a interesting back story or something deep like how they lived in past... they are not really deep characters, but in every Trevor's Scene or dialogues there is so much to think about! I can think and understand how he lived in the past what other people have done to him! He is deepest character I have ever seen! He clearly had problems since childhood how to Communicate with other people/women! and no one helped him! and women didn't even trust him because of his look!(His look is normal for a person that had a bad/hard life! we shouldn't judge people based on how they look!!!) First time I saw trevor he killed johnny and I said wtf is this crazy character! and after a while I said it's best damn character ever! johnny's story was done and what a better way to show trevor's anger with killing a popular character!(It's just my opinion I loved johnny in IV! He is 100% better than other two characters!) He is unpredictable, emotional, kind, at same time angry for the past! and also have big problems that tells us a lot about his back story! He is so honest when he is emotional! his emotions are real but still he can't control it! just listen carefully what he says to Patricia! All I want to say is Trevor's character is so underrated! while other two characters are overrated! (IMO!) Finally I found a good video about Trevor! Also I recommend this: What do you think? billiejoearmstrong8 Posted March 28, 2021 Share Posted March 28, 2021 (edited) I agree that Trevor is an interesting and complex character, with some redeeming qualities, and a traumatic background that explains a lot about his personality. And I agree it's lame that he's written off as just a "psycho" when there's a lot more to appreciate about the character. Saying "soft boys can't understand" isn't likely to convince people though. To say the very least! I used to as well but hey, I’m over it now. While Trevor still isn’t quite my favorite character in any way, shape, or form, he still has interesting characteristics and even a handful of redeeming qualities. However, forcing someone to like Trevor is equally wrong as forcing someone to dislike Trevor. I’m NOT saying that’s what you’re doing. I’m just putting that out there. You still definitely made some good points, OP. However, I agree with billiejoearmstrong8 that calling people “soft boys” doesn’t really make them convinced. Instead, it probably just makes them more triggered, want to agree with you less, and maybe even just start trolling and flaming without actually reading the thread through. And his back story explains his anger so no wonder he acts like that at times. He is still not my favorite, but he is not bad in my opinion.
