What is the difference between a Moderator and an Admin?

From the perspective of forum users there's very little difference. Admins have an additional role managing the site infrastructure and can do a few things within IPB that mods can't.

Pretty much the above, we focus more on keeping all our services alive, mods are pretty much in charge of the community.

That said, admins may also moderate the site, and some of us still do, it's just an additional management role as sivispacem mentioned.
