E Revere
Not trilogy but just as nostalgic. Anybody remember this? bahraini_carguy
bahraini_carguy
Oh boy, you just opened a can of worms. A lot of early YT videos on GTA were already mentioned here but i thought i would share some more. Sadly, a lot of older videos have been taken down since. LONG POST WARNING I still remember seeing these kinds of videos as a kid and thinking that i was actually able to turn into superman/batman/spiderman in San Andreas. What's more confusing was that one of my crappy GTA Superman bootleg literally used this exact Superman video as the game's intro, not making this up. Another early GTA video trends i recall were those "GTA in real life" types of videos, lol. Then there was all of those glitches/stunts/mods showcase types of videos. Something amusing seeing all these low quality clips w/ licensed music that just screams 2000's, ones that otherwise will never fly in today's YT world. Speaking of which, i used to enjoy watching these walkthrough videos by GTA Mission as a kid. Again, don't ask me why. Few fun oddities here and there... Ignoring all those myth videos that made me never want to touch the countryside of San Andreas ever again (lmao), i would move onto GTA 4 where a new types of videos started appearing on Youtube. Machinima videos. It's such a shame that this type of content pretty much died out afterwards, especially with two of well known Youtubers behind said content have unfortunately passed away since. Also with Machinima being long gone, a lot of said movies and clips have disappeared without a trace. The other type of videos i recall were those let's play videos around the year 2012-2014 (oh man i can't believe i'm being nostalgic for 2013 already). In particular, NerdCubed's GTA 4 mod videos like LCPDFR & Tsunami mod. Sorry for the long post but i was too busy just remembering all of the videos off the top of my head.It also made me lowkey realize how old i've become since then. The lego one, I haven't seen it since I was a kid- I just now remembered that video existed! I also remember thinking as a kid that it was an actual game. Also... Been a fan of Nerdcubed since late 2012, love his GTA videos to this day. bahraini_carguy

wise_man
Not trilogy, but still remember this fan trailer to this day, one of the first GTA videos I watched. Edited April 25 by wise_man
Gravarty
This ain't a stunt video or machinima but this is something that's really nostalgic for me I followed this ytp battle back in 2008 and always waited impatiently for the next video to be uploaded. It's funny that today it's really hard to find this video, since all the "GTA Tennis" tags are replaced with the Tennis side mission in GTA V. EDIT: And this one! I originally saw it on MyVideo (German video-hosting site) when YouTube was still unknown here (2006 or so idk). After all these years, I finally found a copy of this video in "HQ": Edited April 25 by Gravarty bahraini_carguy
