simi_18
I have got a problem with both GTA3 and GTA Vice City on my PC. The problem is when I was playing on gta3, I while ago, I pressed a few different keys on the keyboard, as I forgot the controls and the camera changed to look behind, as I was in a car. So, next I tried the change camera with 'C' key but they still all looked backwards but just changed the zoom (except cinematic cam). So I looked for the control to look behind in a car, which was 'Num1' + 'Num2' so I tried that with 'Numlock' on, for all the camera views and it didn't work. Then I just tried looking left and right for all the camera views and that didn't work either. So I just got out the car and started walking. When walking the camera is normal, and looks forward from behind your person. Then I got back in the car and the view was back to normal looking forward from behind the car, but looking left, right or behind didn't work. So I just played on but then I found the second problem that I couldn't change weapons. I use the mouse scroll button which I know works because it changes the radio station in the car. So I paused by pressing 'Esc' and then went back to the game but I found the weapon would change each time I paused and continued. So when I got Vice City I thought there would be no problems, but the same problem as before happened again with the view and changing weapons! I was very annoyed and decided to uninstall gta3 and reinstall VC, but still the same happened. I know the keyboard does work, and 'Numlock' is on but the view only looks forward after you get out and get back in again. I've tried different keyboard commands but nothing works, and I've tried reinstalling but also nothing works. This is really annoying it spoils the enjoyment of Vice City which from what I've been able to explore looks brilliant. I think the problem may be to do with the computer or a file that both GTA3 and VC both use. So please anyone having an idea to solve this problem, with keyboard commands, patches, file fixes or anything reply. I'll be very grateful, thanx. No need to reply, the problem has been fixed, thanx.
Dazzamac
Go to the control settings and change it there. GTA3 pissed me off so much that I sold it.
