Chris Noone
Tools Zmodeler GTA SA v2.0 Getting Started Before we meddle with the main tutorial, I will assume you already know and prepared the following: The car mod to be fixed You already know how to import DFF using img tool You already know how to import TXD using txd tool Understand, handling.cfg, vehicles.ide, carcols.dat, carmod.dat Your GTA SA is in the latest android version (v2.0) Have the latest CLEO installed and set-up If you haven't prepared it yet better do so, and get back here when you're ready because I will not cover them on this tutorial. Tutorial Step 1: Install ZModeler on Playstore. Step 2: After installing, open the app, and go to File tab. Step 3: Tap Open. Step 4: Find the DFF file of the car on your device and tap Accept. Step 5: The 3d model should load on the screen. (to be able to edit & navigate around, enable Orbit and Edit Mode) Step 6: As you notice, the head light tint are in blue and orange. (or yellow, whatever, I'm blind) Step 7: Now to fix this, go to Edit tab. Step 8: Tap Materials Step 9: Scroll down and find the following: luci_F, luci_stop, lucino, usually these are the standard names for the lights Note: Vehicle part names may vary on other car models Other modders may attach the lights on the chassis Some lights may be attached on other car parts like on the front/rear bumpers, boot(trunk), bonnet(hood), wing, extras, etc. Step 10: As an example, let's select luci_F and tap Accept. Step 11: As you see, there's the culprit Step 12: Let's select Material.0 first, and then tap Choose Color Step 13: A color swatch window will appear, just choose a plain White color (take note: Material.0 has a texture named vehiclelights128) Step 14: Voila, you are almost there! Step 15: Tap the Back button Step 16: Do the same from Step 10 to Step 15 for the remaining light parts, as for my case luci_stop, lucino. (If you have OCD or just wanna waste your life, you can check each & every parts and look for materials that has the vehiclelights128 texture in it, change them colors to White) Step 17: Close the material editor Step 18: You know the drill. Step 19: After tapping save, a window will appear, just tap Accept, it's already in it's current directory Step 20: Waste a millisecond of your life again Finally, just import the edited DFF in gta3.img using any IMG Tool just as you normally would. Unfortunately, you have to edit like this everytime you import newly modded cars on the game to avoid light glitches, this is by far the only way I can fix your problem at the moment, hopefully someone can find better solutions, but other than that - this is all I can contribute, Hope it Helps. Enjoy! Mission Passed!
