Why do GTA Underground saves crash every time I load them?

I'm on version 4.1.7.

My saves always crash when I start the game fresh even though they work when I load them during the same play session

Is there anything that can be done for this?

Hi, do you have any mods installed? Did you try reinstalling the game? Do you have the storyline installed?
