I only seem to find trade route at about 1:22AM just as I’m going to bed. I finally saw a Salvage Event today, the first time since last year about Thanksgiving, but my RDO didn’t load fast enough to get into the event and I was bummed out. aaronBLUEeyes Posted March 15, 2021 Author Share Posted March 15, 2021 Nope, that’s Railroad Baron — I hate that one; I love PvP but don’t like how they designed the mode and all anyone does is shoot other fresh spawns in the back. Trade Route is Cooperative defense of a train and cargo from NPCs that is worth trade goods for your Crips business. But even with that I still managed to miss both events today. Salvage (First Time I’ve even seen the event in months) I missed because RDO got stuck on stupid and didn’t load me into online. Trade Route, I went to make a damn shake for lunch and came back and it never populated in my invites — so it wasn’t started when I went to make my shake, then invited me whilst making my shake and f*ck*ng disappeared before I came back. And it used to be around 22.00 (24 hours time format - I'm not good with this AM/PM..) But on this schedule I've linked to, it is happening just before 12.00 (11.52 - still in 24 hours time format ..) This is actually nearly impossible for anybody to participate in - Oh yes, somebody is still at home, because of Corona restrictions - but hey, do they really do this on purpose ? Collector Map said, will start in 7min. I’m hungry and go make a shake which takes 5min tops. Come back it’s not listed in Collector Map anymore, just shows Rail Road Baron and never populated in my Invites Menu in-game. Like seriously wtf happened!? The events displayed on that map aren’t always accurate I’ve heard. I also heard that Trade Route happens 3 times during a 24 hour period. Once every 8 hours. I usually join the one at 6:22am (UK time). The invite usually disappears pretty quick for me, so I try to be ready like a minute or two before the invite arrives. Yeah, sometimes they are wrong (not sure why.) They get off somehow. I tend to watch it, just to be sure that the ones I DON'T want to do are also showing the right times. That way I can then be ready if I want to do a free roam "3 kills blah" with the right explosive ammo/etc. Most of the time they are correct, though. First I've got lassoed by some random guy, but I could break free and back on the train, I saw some players started to throw explosives so the cargo got destroyed. Then I got lassoed again and got overrun by another players horse, which killed me. Maybe R* should dsable the lasso and explosives in Traderoute. Rev. I think the simple fix would be to prevent lasso lock-on to players and make it so players can’t cause damage to each other with explosives. I've had several trade route runs ruined because of these idiots. Rockstar are aware of it but choose to do nothing.
