CLASSIC 

The basic reflection you get with most colours.



UTILITY

 

The reflection is more "faded" in the outlines of the shiny spots - When you apply any Crew Colour, it will come as Utility as stock.



EPSILON

 

 

Epsilon is an even more faded version of the utility texture. It looks to have a polished wax finish, and the colour underneath appears very sharp, especially if it's a light colour.



WORN

 

 

A texture which is mostly found on rusty cars and some modern street vehicles. It has a very faded reflection, and looks an awfully lot like the matte texture when viewed in the right lighting.



MATTE

 

 

Very similar to the worn texture, but has little to no reflection at all. Think of it as a chalkboard.



METAL / GOLD_BRUSH

 

 

The outlines of the shiny spots are "faded" when comparing it to MP100 / Pure Gold on this texture as seen below. This is often called a "3D" colour/texture, and I have no idea why. Don't ask. Community agreement, I suppose.



MP100_GOLD_SPEC / GOLD_PURE

 

 

Same deal as the metal texture, but is much shinier overall, and is very sharp. This is also called a "3D" colour/texture, and yet again, I don't know why it is.



CHROME

Gold and regular shiny finish you can do on pc with crew colors, but epsilon?

I would love to see it.

For things where the gold may be a touch too much...  as if I can say it's too much

Bruh... Epsilon Blue shares its texture with Ice White and Diamond Blue. It's trivially easy to get on PC.

You're actually in luck. Diamond blue actually uses the epsilon finish! From what I remember, frost white might too, but don't quote me on that one.

I'm not sure diamond blue is epsilon, looks like it just looks shinier because it's brighter than the other paints. Reflection halo size is the same as everything else except the lowest blacks.

It's fine, that's understandable. And, diamond blue really has the same finish. I checked with my own cars, and they really are just as shiny as the epsilon paint. It just looks funny because of diamond blue's pearlescent.

I tested with classic, couldn't really tell.

Either way, I don't think it's quite dramatic enough (compared to say utility and normal) for some cars like the 3600lx which looks like it has no clearcoat anything short of the gold finish... or just comparing with other standard paints

 

So it seems to be either offroad or muscle is the guess here for the warstock HSW?

There'll definitely be more VIP Contracts at our agency, but who knows as to when that'll happen. No clue yet as to what the summer update will consist of.

And indeed, her Motomami album comes out three days after E&E so I'm not sure why R* didn't use this as an opportunity to add her as a new VIP Contract for E&E's launch. Maybe an issue of workload or something similar, long as they don't rush it I'm fine with waiting until summer or beyond.

It also seems weird to me that they didn't just wait a while and release E&E at the same time as the Summer Update. I get that two events are better than one, but they are stretching the content thin.

I'd rather they release summer's update the same time as E&E next week than the other way around lol, this re release has already been delayed once from its already rather late release of Nov '21 (considering it was announced in June 2020) so a further delay to summer would be a PR nightmare for R*

Yeah someone posted it over in the main GTA V next-gen topic too, might be the unlock files, or a day 1 (or -1 ) patch. I suppose devs nowadays with better stores etc. can push out updates even before the game releases, but it's Saturday, so there's a chance it could be a scheduled update with the unlock files for when it releases.

Yea, either way does not bother me. I just thought the way I said it was in keeping with The Grand Design R* is obsessed with.

 

They are slicing already thin content even thinner and splitting it up between Updates that are only months apart.

It was a joke, and also it wasn't - that new 'third' Mule is unreleased (mission) vehicle, with Weed Van and Lost Slamvan

 

No idea what is coming for Warstock, it wont be new Mule for sure , but raceable version of Ardent would be very apricated in racing community (Broughy loves that car, but you can not use it because of dumb 'weapons')
