Rockstar is doing great job on unhyping d'hype (that was never really a hype ), and this is some level of black hole marketing - sucking up all the air and life from GTA universe in to ultimate "I dont have a fkn idea what's up!"...

Probably gonna just buy a Denon AVR-X2700HDAB, i don't really care about DAB, but it's the only thing available atm. It's 100€ more with DAB, it sucks. I wanted to buy a X1700 but all sold out. Im usually a Yamaha guy, but i also can't get any Yamaha.    Damn Chip shortages. I just want my HDMI thing fixed. I still got a HDMI 2.0 AVR.

 

My workaround is, i use one cable to my amp and one to my TV. I have to have a 1280x720p extended desktop that i never use just for sound, while playing to get PCM 5.1.

I wanted a Yamaha it really really sucks, i have to get a Denon i never used before, just for HDMI 2.1. I probably pay 930 euro for that sh*t. Just for the HDMI 2.1.

Extended HDMI is fine for umm everything AFAIK? What does 2.1 get you? 120fps?

 

I had a Yamaha. It overheated, but not its fault. See earlier posts.

Yep 120 HZ 4K with HDR. I need that, it sucks.

I must have a pseudo 1280x720p second monitor atm, just to create PCM 5.1. But i already got 7 speakers and all so it will be good i finally get a 7.2 Amp. I got a 1000 watts.

 

Afaik after May 2021 all Denon and Marantz AVR's got the real full HDMI 2.1 treatmeant, well the HDMI chips were f*cked.

 

Tomorrow or on monday some money should arrive (1840€), then i buy myself the DAB version lol, even tho i don't need it. Hooray wasting money on stuff i don't need, because everything else is sold out. It would be 100€ cheaper for the regular x2700H or even 200€ cheaper with the x1700H, but hell no both not available.

 

Have to pay 920€ for a damn AVR...

 

Gonna buy this thing. Well with DAB because I HAVE TO, because of shortages!

PC might get E&E content, but after some time. Something like Red Dead Redemption 2's PC release, we got PC content on consoles after few months.

they aint gonna do one if they wont be changing sh*t.

 

Lets be honest with ourselves, this is just PC version. It might have slightly better textures, thats it. I dont even think they'll add new props/trees around the map.

They already confirmed ray tracing and other misc. visual improvements, even if it's not everything, I do think a comparison video could work for specific areas where they've improved visuals and are applying ray tracing. Wouldn't expect extra trees tho lol.

I'm expecting them to have played a Forza Horizon game or 3 in the last 9 years but then I always have unrealistic expectations about driving through trees
