They’ll make the game run better by having less in it. The world on PS3/XB360 was more lively than PS4/XB1. It’ll be the same again.

That's an indicator that most likely pc won't get an update E&E on 15th. So yea, we pc peasants will have noce spring, summer or whole year with no E&E and  they will have audacity to charge us same price as current consoles.

no doubt they'll have related bonuses active... so it wouldn't make sense to not be an update for any other platform.

There wasn't any new content with the PS4/XB1 versions back in the day.
first dlc was 1 month later with festive surprise...


I mean, without the special upgrades, wouldn't any updates (at least on ps4/xb1) just be like one of the old 2014 era dlcs?

Because without DLC for One/PS4 how are E&E players going to be able to do this? They need the models.

I hardly believe there will be crossplay between last gen and current gen consoles, this also didn't work with PS3 and PS4 or X-Box 360 and X-Box One.

I'm trying to find where I got the idea it would be crossplay from but google is just full of traffic whores quoting... tezs posts here. They're a rockstar insider* apparently! Who knew.

 

I did learn that Dolby Atmos is probably a thing, which is nice

I asked this the other day. If it is Cross-Play we won't see any Next Gen exclusive content, so why bother buying the E&E version? Just wait until Last Gen gets cut off and buy it in a sale or the E&E version of GTAV from the bargain bin. 4K, 60fps and Ray Tracing are not worth a buy when other companies, even scummy ones like EA and Ubisoft are giving it away for free. If I am paying full price or DLC prices I expect DLC sized content, not just some crappy cars that everyone gets and some speeds boosts.

I am very much hoping I can buy and preload it soon, for instance, as a 120Gb game would take me 15 hours to download. I have the rural broadband, for now.
