Next DLC Speculation Topic Mk XI

Just a thought, perhaps the next VIP contract isn't for a person but an organization? The Epsilon Program. I mean I was surprised about them bringing back Jimmy Boston and Marnie in Short Trips for quite a substantial cut scene. Perhaps R* will open up their HQ next to Tinsel Towers as a new social space.

 

Given the significance of this cult, both in game and with the GTA community, I'm surprised we haven't had more to do with it in GTAO aside from a random event and unlocking the robes in the night club. Something with promoting them, helping their celebrity members or dealing with non-believers. 

 

Anyhow, I'm still wanting a Vinewood movie studios update (perhaps with Michael) and a 'recycling' business for SA.

Still nothing about E&E with less than 3 weeks left. Some mini vip contract with thotalia might be possible, even alongside exclusively modified Hao cars, but i doubt it will be on the same scope as dre contract, perhaps act 1 and finale with smaller payout compared to 3 acts.

I think it is unlikely we will get anything related to the Contract DLC on March 15th, mainly because all the content coming with E&E including HSW cars, appears to be exclusive to current gen consoles. Of course R* hasn't specified if this content will come to PC or be a timed exclusive.

 

I agree, its strange being so close to launch and we don't have too much info, including how to transfer our accounts and any bonuses for doing so! I don't think we can pre-order the game either or if there are even physical editions for E&E.

Something surrounding the Epsilon Program would be great tbh, I've always liked the fact they brought that back in full for GTA V, us doing something with/for them in GTAO would be nice. Kifflom!

So? Just because a new vip contract may be coming alongside E&E doesn't mean it has to be exclusive for it, we're quite far off from seeing current gen exclusive updates just yet imo. The HSW stuff is different than an actual gtao content update so it being exclusive for current gen along with other stuff too makes sense.

 

They've said transfers will be possible so it'll most likely work how it did last time around for the previous gen upgrade and I'm sure there will be physical copies but R* is probably waiting until we're closer to release to confirm all this.

 

Tbh, the way they've handled the E&E lead up and marketing makes it seem like it won't be much of a leap this time around, which is weird considering the power of current gen compared to last gen and how last gen was compared to the gen before it (not as big of a jump in power as now).

 

Buuuuut then again, this is nearly a ten year old game we're talking about and it was merely a year old when the last gen upgrade hit. You can only do so much from 15+ year code.

We didn't get a massive info blowout for the last gen upgrade either until two weeks before it launched. Much of the stuff we've heard about E&E so far is similar to what R* said about last gen gta v in the months leading up to its release, except the pre orders for that went up three weeks before release and we've still yet to see any for E&E despite passing the three week mark three days ago

 

I agree about a new vip contract not being as big as the last one if it comes alongside E&E as an exclusive bonus type deal or something, even if it isn't exclusive, if it does come next month and not summer, I doubt it'll be as big as the last contract.

Tbh, i like Motomami Radio. 80% of the songs, i mean. Specifically about Rosalia songs i would say that i like 30% of them. But this station is far better than East Los Santos Radio. Soniditos and sh*t to make my ears hurt. But they have some classic songs from latin south america that i personally like bcz it reminds me of Radio Espantoso from Vice City.

Also, i can be wrong, but R* never changed nor added outdoors since 2013 and now they did it with the Motomami album logo (which is the same of the radio station in game) and they are 3 big ass ones. And people called me crazy when i said that R* went with a hard simping for her...not even Dr. Dre that was the face of the DLC got any of that treatment. Idk what could suggest different that it's not Rosalia the most plausible next VIP contact.

Just a bit of a personal remark that for a lot of us these gaming sites and talking about gaming is an escape from all the horrible things real life has to offer - I know the world is scary out there atm, and venting is absolutely essential - but I'd like to plead that these topics are kept to talking about the games, Rockstar and related, and not focus too much on everything that's going on in the world, whether it be the invasion of Ukraine (we have a topic for those interested in discussing it) or COVID.

 

This isn't a moderation reminder, just a bit of a personal view.   I don't think the war in Ukraine will affect anything in regards to E&E...

I heard the news that Japan is ending the export of those chip components so needed for eletronics, included for the PS5's, to Russia. I guess that the sanctions will affect only Russia, but idk...apart from russians not being able to get ps5's...we can also be dealing with a nuclear war in the worst case scenario, thus, no E&E for anyone.

Yeah, i wasn't going to talk about that issue, but, only extract from the problem that the world is facing right now and a possible way how that could have repercussions in what this forum is all about: gta.

No, military operation in Ukraine shouldn't affect E&E release. Although i'm kinda confused wtf is R* waiting on to provide some kind of info and pre-order. I know it's an old game, but still one of the most popular, so they should at least hype up people a little for  re-re-release.

Please... no more radio stations, they should start updating radio stations that haven't gotten new songs instead, i'd really love to see LSRR getting an update, same with west coast talk radio and blaine county radio even though those are talk radios.

Well...understandable...but i would make an excuse if it was a synthwave radio station! Talking about talk radios...in fact they could be updated (although i don't think a lot of people listen them...and speaking of that, also would be nice if they give us new tv programms, they are from 2013). Also...speaking about radios and music, whatever man...if it's not a thing of someone to listen music in the game, that's fine by me. But i find so weird...i know people that dont listen radio at all and it's not bcz they already listened it too much, in fact, they never listened any radio! They have zero volume for those and it becomes awkward when you enter a nightclub or whatever place that should have background music and don't have it...it makes less sense since now we can even choose which radios we want and hidden the others, hell, we can even hide every single one and avoid the goofyness of entering a nightclub and people are just dancing with no music.

to be honest, I always listen to LSRR and WCTR/BCR most of the time when i'm playing both storymode and online, it'd be pretty cool if with E&E they make exclusive weazel news reports to most of the events of GTA Online (like the 2015 heists, casino heist, doomsday, etc, only those that actually are relevant to gta online's events), since they did something similar when the contract came out, DJ Pooh was talking about the events of the contract DLC for a while.

Yes i think thats the case...last week i started to randomly source 1 crate between jobs because i felt an airfreight cargo bonus was likely to come, but the other day i was like...WTF i did not source that extra stuff i have now

The crate seems to count as stolen from oneself but won't actually show up in the hangar until you go back to single player once.

- Narcotics, Chemical, Medical Supplies give 35% extra for each set of 25. (70% for 50.)

- Animal Materials, Art & Antiques, Jewelry & Gemstones give 12% extra for each set of 10. (60% for 50.)

- Counterfeit Goods, Tobacco & Alcohol give 5% extra for each set of 5. (50% for 50.)

 

Sales up to 10 crates are meant for 1 player, 11-25 for 2 players, and 26-50 for 3 players. Some of the 25-crate sales can be done solo but not all. The Mogul sell mission is a bit tricky even in a 10-crate sale.

 

So if you're a solo player, I would alternate between two types of the 2nd category, selling whenever you reach 10 cargo.

With 2 players, source one of the 1st category, alternate hangars, and sell when you have 25 cargo.

With 3+ players, only source animal materials and sell when you have 50.

 

Go back to single player and back online for the "phantom" animal materials to show up before a sale.

 

EDIT: Actually you only get 1 extra crate per mission, so it would be better to do the missions solo even when you have multiple players and then sell together.

Well, my hanger does give me 2x on top of everything.

So it is 6x with the current bonuses

But I did recall it at some point in the past before it started being this weird having more cargo then I remembered, but then and again, I use it so little it could just be something I forgot...

 

 

BTW, does your value show as the increased 'phantom' amount in the sell all screen right after sourcing and in the left popup messages?

 

Because that's how mine is, and I don't even need to go to SP to get it to sell at the increased amount...

25 is fine for 1 unless its the mogul or havok

I've done up to 35, but 25-30 would've been the recommended max
