If not an enitre new city as a map expansion, i guess that at least they will (should, obviously) make another expansion in LS. Mile High Club would be perfect. But i think that even with that, that wouldn't fix the problem of people being tired of the same old map for the last 8 years.

well, they also did say future updates with be E+E and PC only, so a pc patch for performance would be inevitable...

Yes, but for instances, if the gifts/bonus/exclusive content will be for everyone who get E&E then, even if the PC version would come a little bit later, theoretically we, PC players, will also have them. But if they categorize them as gifts/bonus/exclusive content as for example "for returning players" maybe we will assist something of what happened to content for returning players from the ps3 era to ps4 era, like the kraken submarine, some exclusive cars like the stallion, Michael's quest of the mystery murder. We PC players only had that content, like 5 years after the re-release of the game for ps4 in gta online. And for SP it wasn't everything, some cars and the Michael's mystery murder we only got it bcz if i remember correctly, it was with Tuners DLC that some returning players of consoles weren't being able to receive those bonus and R* could only solve the situation by giving that content for everyone, including PC players that weren't included from the 1st time that they released those "returning players bonus". So, i believe you can now understand my reserves...

Well, if you were a returning player/played gta on PS3... you still got them (I did).

I definitely did have the murder mystery unlocked and done pretty much a year after the pc version launched.

And the cars are always there, even if some online only ones like the Khamelion or whatever had to be edited in.

No, i was only PC player. And the only exclusive content i got was the electric car khamelion. The other bonus like the sprunk buffalo, burger shot stalion, kraken, they only added them to the game for PC players maybe 3 or 4 years ago bcz they felt they wanted to do it. But the muder mystery and all that gta online content for SP i only got it with Tuners, and only bcz R* add to give them to everyone in order to correct the problem for the returning players not getting the bonus. Let's just hope that nothing major will not coming to PC with the E&E.

Well, PS4 only new players also wouldn't have those

But I started on PC, borrowed a ps3 version back in the day, and got the things for 'returning' in pc after playing the prologue on ps3.

But it was only with tuners I got the returning stuff in online as well...

Thing about heist updates nowadays in gta is that it gives you sh*t tons of option to tackle the heist which brings in variety of gameplay. Dr dre storyline was good but i don’t see myself playing it ever again bcoz mission structure was very linear and not that interesting to me.

updates like casino heist and cayo perico heist which gives you so many options to approach your target has officially ruined me

With so many robberies that we had in gta online I think a lot about payday come on it almost seems like competition xD

Would be Nice a Crypto/nft - stock market dlc, Rockstar Made refference to Crypto in cayo perico (Pavel mention) and with the last dlc Imani talks about nft...they can implement the singleplayer websites to work in online...You can Buy/trade stocks and manipulate the market attacking different targets...and steal nfts with imani hacking servers or whatever...they can put mansions linked to this...of course there is a chance that modders f*&k up that and make money exploits and such but those existed with casino dlc so it relative...but the idea seems interesting to me .

nah they would have to fully transform the city. 2008 new york is very different from 2021 new york and if they release it as is it would be very strange and break immersion.

I was talking with some forumers how it would be good idea of an update where we take down rubio and replace him as supplier, cayo becomes our compound with passive income, but it needs to be significant with at least 200-500k of passive income in 48min (in game day). There could be upgrades to guards like armor, weapons, vehicles and other defenses and that could be a paywall to update with mansion customization included.

 

Now would R* go with that? Doubt it, not because a problem of continuity as players can repeat doomsday even if that storyline is concluded, so players can repeat cayo heist as something that happened in the past before killing of el rubio, but because players would get high passive income for doing nothing. 

They could either reduce passive from island drug supplying to measly 50k, which won't be worth it or offset it with choice: kill rubio and takeover cayo but you can't host cayo heist anymore or continue robbing him to eternity, but then with that particular choice a lot of players wouldn't even participate in new content update. 

 

It would be interesting if R* makes dlc with another island where players take similar role of rubio, as supplier, a lot of cash to be wasted on compoud customization, defenses, production, smuggler routes to choose, etc, they could even implement dreaded random island raid (like crate warehouse) or lost of supply plane for example. 

But for all of this to be worth it passive income itself should be worth the investment and i doubt R* would go this route because a lot of players would be basically printing cash from island by simply playing. Hell, i play almost every day and i wouldn't have problem of pouring 100m for example if i can earn way much more by simply playing game regularly. 

And high lvl players would finally feel like kingpins they should be by controlling supply and drug routes.
