Also, @Tez2 @WildBrick142 I'm really curious if there's anything script-side that sheds light on why the i-Wagen doesn't have powertrain upgrades (Engine and turbo)available in LSC normally without using ifruit to order them unlike other electric/single speed vehicles. Especially since the engine upgrades are in the files (and the turbo decal livery).

Maybe there's a typo, something different, or just some typical rockstar wonkiness...

turbo upgrades are always disabled for electric cars, nothing new there, while the i-wagen was specifically added to a list of vehicles with ems upgrades disabled

 

that list only contains the anti-aircraft trailer, mobile operations center, lf-22 starling, rc bandito, and the invade and persuade rc tank so it makes sense for those, but what's the i-wagen doing there is a mystery to me

I mean, there could always be an exception with the turbo...

Is that list/script responsible for it only active in online?

it's active in both singleplayer and online

Weird...

Not sure why RC bandito is in the list when it has a non-default value of 110 for level 4, everything else there has no options for much of anything (I+P tank) or is a trailer and therefore has no power anyway

So does any vehicle being on the list stop the upgrades taking effect if they are applied?

Or is it just an interface thing like wheel selections and shop specific options?

Because I swear it does make some difference with the upgrades in the one race I created yesterday.

it's just an interface thing. if you can glitch or mod the upgrades on they'll still have an effect

Yes, i think it's a good idea. (Can someone who's not from the staff create it? I could try...) there was one from 2015 but it's currently closed and didn't had more than 1 page i believe. You know what? I think i'm going to create one! It's even better be someone from the Horny Police...this way we can control if things get too derailed.

I went through 30 minutes of sweating just to get the FIB Frogger from the FIB Building mission of the contract only to find out it's not possible to store it, I wonder if we'll ever get this reskin of the frogger somewhere in the future, along with other unused content, perhaps in CnC?

I hope CnC comes with the E&E version of GTA V, they already have lots of cut content they could use. Would make sense to release more content apart from all the stuff that has already been leaked.

I agree, but I feel like march/april/filler DLCs should focus on small things like converting NPC clothing into player clothing, they could use something like "Los Santos Fashion Expansion" to refer to these types of updates, since there's still plenty of NPC clothes that still aren't player clothing.

Spider, i toke the liberty of doing a Speculation Thread about it. Take a look and see what you think about it. I believe it's "decent" in all regards. I established a set of rules to be respected there.

Well, idk...i wasn't around here at the time of those pimp dlc threads were so divisive among forumers...

No hard feelings though...only sucks the time that i wasted doing the rules for that thread for nothing...

I just can't imagine how funny will be the uproar that this forum will have on the day that Rockstar would/will announce a dlc with this theme.




Obs.: But to sum it up, i guess the post of @Moth yesterday synthesized pretty well how a decent and doable Prostitution DLC could work, and i quote:

"A brothel business update would be great imo. Having to recruit hos and also having to protect them. Deliver them to clients and f*ck with rival pimps and brothels. Clothing would be pimps and hos type of clothing. Motels could be the fronts for the business, since we do have a good number of them around the map. The Broadway from SA could make a come back, along with the PMP 600 and Stretch E and a new Cavalcade. Another type of mission would be driving the ho and client around and protecting them from paparazzi and sh*t.(yes I stole that from Saints Row) Both male and female prostitutes, cause gotta be fair."

Wow...that's an old thread. Also, it's just a coincidence that i never saw those profiles of that thread anywhere else that i remember right now, with the exception of @Pedinhuh?

Although is not a thread about a dlc but an exploit, bug, to earn cash apparently...lmao...the game was so broken back then.
