It likely would have been similar to what we eventually got with the agency: private police, investigation, vigilante services for people rich enough to afford them. The potential gang warfare feature seems like a straight transfer.

 

The "crook" role was probably what eventually manifested as the auto shop contracts, vehicle thefts, illegal street racing, etc. from the Tuners DLC.

For me Cops N' Crooks should/could work as a small expansion mode aka like the usual mid-year small DLC expansions we usually got ...

 

We already got the Stun Gun, only the rides and the infamous police outfit are missing, make some themed adv/race modes and we are done. (It worked for SASSS and other similar updates).

 

R* could make this content as a side/complement to Tuners DLC tbh. (Similar how Cunning Stunts got the Special Vehicle Circuit as complement and etc ...).

 

- Special Type of Themed-Timed Pursuit Races for both Cops and Racers teams.

- The Vespucci Job V.2 - Tuner Edition. (With a option to everyone bring a tuned car of the Emergency/Tuner car classes).

- Classic Cops 'n' Crooks based in the GTA IV's All For One and One For All modes. (Entourage Adv. Mode is basically a on-foot version of All For One and Extraction is a "rough" version of the AFO mode, but with heavy weaponry, armored vehicles and more).

- Even a themed version of the Hunting Pack mode could work.

 

- Themed LTS, Capture modes (for the on-foot combat themed modes) and there you go.

 

It is far more easier to integrate the theme into this kind of DLC/expansion than any "story/contact/heist missions".

 

Also would make sense since they went full overboard to delete the majority of competitive modes and adv. modes, those would be fresh options while keeping the said theme, if they want to rotate the modes, at least they should go creative ...

idk i just don't see pratt as the type of actor to appear in gta, i find him pretty annoying personally. reynolds is ok but still wouldn't want him in gta, he'd probably turn to the camera and make some little remark or something. danny trejo, however, is someone i'd be down to see. aubrey plaza could be fun to hang around with too.

I noticed that you get some special/easter egg conversations lines if you hang out for some minutes inside the smoking room of the Studio A Records between Lamar and Franklin. I was there for like 20 minutes and i pick 3 conversations. Two of them weren't nothing that important, but one were about Simeon, so, as it's not surprise for anyone, canonically Simeon is still alive (bcz in SP there's an occasion that you can meet Simeon in "free mode" in his shop and kill him, bcz Lamar mentions it.

Ok, so let's go by parts. Oh, and by the way, it's just some printscreens and the subtitles are in portuguese. I will explain the main theme of the conversation, but i will not go into details, if you want, write it over in google translator. Be my guest, lol! But they are funny conversations:

Conversation A (i didn't pick everything but it was basically about food, bcz Franklin wants to eat  and (R*) Lamar starts to mocking how "healthy" people eat nowadays with all that vegan stuff:

Conversation B it's about Simeon. Lamar asks if Franklin know about Simeon nowadays. Franklin replies he don't care about him (he don't need him now), but Lamar says that economic crysis etc., is always wise to keep touch with that kind of job. Then they talk about how good is going back to the action and how good they are doing ok and how good is to have a nice team by their side (i suppose they are mentioning us:

Conversation C is about Lamar saying he brought some land property in the moon and that his plan is to cultivate weed there and he will get so rich that will build a statue of himself with one hand in his dick in order to Franklin see it, lmao:

To be fair that would be a pretty good reason for them to work with us.

Their biggest enemy working for them, taking care of the problems they cant take care of themself.

There is an old saying, something like: "Keep your friends close and your enemys even closer."

 

And regarding the police racism thing, part of the story could be us as player taking down a racist chief. This would basicly block all related negative PR.

Anyone received random money gifts from R*?

 

I received $1.6 millions last night while playing, it just popped up after I completed the FIB hack. No splash screen, no popup notification or anything. My cash in hand just went up by $1.6 millions. I'm on Xbox seies x & was in an invite only session, so no hackers & whatnot.

 

On a sidenote, I just received the 200k for completing 3 security contracts.

I hope we get a Contract Pt. 2 or something, this time with an older Michael and the movie studio being the setting. For the celebrity, they can use someone like Quentin Tarantino or some other 'classic' high profile Director.

 

I really do hope to see more mainline story characters too. And not necessarily from V alone.

I have an idea for Cop DLC, we buy the police to get rid of our competitors in a "legal" way. The plot might involve one of our allies becomes the mayor of Los Santos (Michael maybe) and wants us to get rid of rival gangs to stop the ongoing violence that is bad for business. So the online player becomes the Sheriff of Los Santos and elimates the rival gangs.

I think a better way of doing CnC is to basically just make fun of the police system the whole time. I mean let's face it, what is a Rockstar game without making fun of the people in power?

Es mucho más fácil integrar el tema en este tipo de DLC / expansión que cualquier "misión de historia / contacto / atraco".

 

También tendría sentido, ya que se pasaron por la borda para eliminar la mayoría de los modos competitivos y adv. modos, esas serían opciones nuevas manteniendo dicho tema, si quieren rotar los modos, al menos deberían ser creativos ...

Apparently, we were supposed to receive new Race Series and new Time Trials? These two markers were added with the recent update, but nowhere mentioned within the scripts. Likely cut content.

 

The abbreviation for these two is HSW. No idea, what that could convey.

my issue about "main" vip jobs is that there's only one and i get it its because its dr.dre but still they could easly add 3 overall (they wouldn't even have to have a lot of cutscenes)
Main one with dre which have like 13 missions (if you repeat you only need to do 11) and two others with smaller creators but less missions and payout (7-8 missions and like 500-600k)

Michael would be awesome! I do hope we get a mission where we fight alongside Franklin, Michael and Trevor at some point. Like the missions where you fight alongside the Families and Ballas in this update, it felt cool having allies that weren't incompetent fools(Aka players lmao)
