It's just when they don't release anything new for a while(a new game) people will focus on their music acts and might also be bitter about those collaborations. Not me personally, most music i listen too was due to Gta.

I'm expecting a bit of news on this coming Thursday (or Friday).. not expecting much else besides that. Sad how R* seems to be closing RDO's coffin for good this winter.

I have only one real wish for the upcoming update: longer and "bigger" content. The Cayo Perico heist was great but even at a leisurely pace it takes 1,5 hours to complete. I would love to have a heist that takes 10 hours to complete so it's something I actually have to work towards. A mixture between the Doomsday heist and Diamond Casino heist would be perfect. A heist where you have a list of tasks which you must complete while roaming around (getaway vehicles, weapons, collecting equipment). These tasks can be completed in any order and do not need to be "triggered" from a central location. The tasks then unlock some setups, similar to how the doomsday setups were unlocked.

 

Unfortunately the trend seems to be have shorter heists to make a quick buck, so slim chance we will ever see a truly big heist.

The chances are probably none.

 

Games developers these days focus specifically on shorter content because they know players don't have a lot of time/attention for longer heists etc.

 

The way it could work is using Genshin developers MiHoYo's format of the first part of xx content is released on a Tuesday but you have two days to wait for the next instalment/mission, it works quite well in terms of pace and still allows you to do other things in between.

 

Sadly I do not think the majority of GTA Online players would support this though!

We already have those, it's called prison brake finale, humane labs emp setup, avenger setup, rescue ulp setup and doomsday act3 finale depending on the team

Oh dont worry, just play any heist with randoms and you'll find yourself playing the same setup for 15 hours.

We should dress like clowns in online to protest for our fellers not getting an update in RDO...they destroyed the trilogy and now they put RDO in an almost terminal state...and we are getting cheap bootleg licensed music galore coming to online, they better not put more modafocka and sequanta contracts, that would be very painful...but i have a Bad feeling....cheap music + modafocka :

That could be the case, but I believe there's more to that. I think it's more odd that RDR2 qabeta updates stopped since October. Before the trilogy launch.

 

RDO's prioritization likely shifted to GTAV E&E (this likely having higher priority than Trilogy), GTA Trilogy and a bit to GTAO update.

When you have to help out with TDE, finish up GTA Online, work on GTA V E&E and most likely GTA VI or whatever else they might be working on, no wonder RDO is put in the backburner, but it's a shame it's deprioritised if that's the case.

I am suddenly very hesitant towards thursday for some reason. Then again, all the Twitter teases from the artists are looking promising. I'm still very hopefull for the 14th although we dont have an official date yet..

I would say most of RDO's prioritization likely shifted to GTAV E&E, some to GTA Trilogy and a bit to GTAO update.

 

Let's just see then if the attention that E&E is absorbing will be justifiable and not only "pc graphics for consoles".

i demand at least the leap from the PS3 to the PS4 quality and content wise. Better graphics, better gameplay mechanics etc. I'm probably already asking too much when talking about better graphics as we still dont have working side- and rear mirrors.
