Lester, Lamar, Pavel, Tony, Agent 14, Ms Baker, could be Hao too and that girl from car meet and probably KDJ and sessanta 

 

As a "surprises yet to be revealed" they have new musicians, including Dr.Dre 

I think that these will be "Mini Heists, but this time for different people with different complexity, level of difficulty and payout

 

We will definitely get a new property to buy and I would honestly not be surprised if these were mansions in which we launch missions from the underground

It might as well be a record company?

I want them to add the only Mercedes that is still missing IMO. Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II (1990), they could also add the 80's version i wouldn't mind. I like them both, but yeah it's still missing in the game.

The issue with mansions is that i believe that they will eventually come, but the thing is, and i'm putting myself in R* shoes: "Mansions at the end of ps4 era version of the game to "thank" players for all these years of fidelity or mansions only in E&E to help boost game sellings?"

Well, simply because we as humans, ones more, others less, are vain and search the superfluous in the world to fill some physical and emotional void, allied with the capitalistic society of the post-modern era in which takes the form of the disease of consumption. Why release SP DLC when the same work on Online DLC will generate you tons more revenue?

I am sure everyone just wants to slap the hell out of these four.

Also, it would be pretty cool if at some point they made a DLC related to having your own construction company like the MCs or the CEOs and name it as you please, or a DLC that adds in casual stuff like karaokes.

Still not sure why people wanted SP DLCs when in all likelihood it would have been the exact same things they released in Online anyway, expecially when it comes to the Doomsday Heists since it was basically confirmed to originally be the SP DLC Rockstar was talking about too. 

 

GTA Online is pretty much the same thing as Singleplayer but with different missions really, it's different that way compared to other games where SP DLCs actually make sense.

I wonder if Rockstar are entertaining the idea of adding garage space for real money. Players who own 200+ vehicles usually don't have the need to spend real money to obtain in-game money. But Rockstar could squeeze some money out of car collectors by charging for example $5 for the ability to buy 5 more properties.

Speaking of paying for more space, what ever happened to those extra character slots from PS3/360?

RDO still hadn't received new dlc nor any news regarding it yet. Given that since release of RDO it was always the first one on  schedule what could that mean for GTAO winter update?

Even though duration of event week indicates that there should be dlc released on 14th, i have a concern that there could be delay or no word with simple new event week next tuesday. 

Or R* finally showing that RDO is not priority when it comes to update order.

Something weird is goin on with rdr, i checked its qabetas and they havent been updated for 3 months, if that at all means anything nowadays.

RDO may be an afterthought now, but it absolutely had great ideas I hope to see carry over into the next GTAO like stranger missions we can do seamlessly in free roam, looting, way more daily challenges, Offensive/Defensive playstyle, layered clothing, inventory wheel, better awards system, gun customization, and lots of other little things. (I want to also say hunting and fishing but that's clearly because GTA Online couldn't handle it back on PS360) It's obviously not perfect, but it showed they were still evolving the online experience

 

RDRO isn't evolving, it's a huge backward step. Less freedom of choice, less options, launched with hardly any content, and a cheap and tacky one size fits all lobby system are all huge steps backwards. It's just the cheapest way R* can do things so to maximise revenue. That game has no heart from the developers and it reeks of last minute slap dash creation.

 

I can agree it'd be cool to have certain elements added from RDRO like deeper gun customising, better clothing options and those may be forward steps - But they're in the story mode first and RDR2 is a forward step, online is just rinse and repeat whatever to sell gold, anyway. I feel if stuff like looting and hunting/fishing came to GTA:O, there'd be less different things that RDRO offers and the game wouldn't be any different which it needs to be to have more chance to appeal.

 

But I don't want that awful offensive/defensive system anywhere near GTA, and those childish top trump cards either. Game killers, this game is bad enough in public without making it even easier for griefers and limiting options to avoid the toxicity R* has embraced for years.

Qabeta isn't really an indication anymore (for GTA at least). I have no idea how qabeta operates for RDO though. I would assume it's quite similar.

I'm not even slightly worried about GTA:O this winter. We'll get stuff as usual, they earn far too much money this time of year to delay things.

 

I feel RDRO will get stuff too, might be more of the same crap like role extension or more blood money missions, but I can see both games getting updated the same week again no problem. 

 

But if i had to say one was making sacrifices for the other... Well, sucks to be on team Red Dead, lol.

Well, the two week RDO event ended yesterday, let's see if they have any update news today, maybe that tells us something about the GTAO update, since by logic and custom, GTAO's should be next Tuesday , we're a week away, and no announcements, this scares me, it's just a small update ??!

I'm almost 100% certain we'll receive a Newswire post on Thursday with the full "play on the 14th" headline. Also correct me if i'm wrong but the Doomsday Heist was teased 1 week before the release and it was a big update.

Again there have been other bigger December updates and they were announced a week prior, even Diamond Casino Heist. Cayo spoiled us with the early announcement, assumingly because they wanted to tease the new island

Sadly for the RDO community, we've come to the day that would logically be the release of their winter update, and nothing, no mention, if GTAO actually gets one on the 14th, maybe there's hope for them on the 21st, even before the Christmas. Or, perhaps unfortunately, RDO will receive on the 14th, and GTAO on the 21st, as RDO has always received its updates before GTA.

I genuinely believe we will get mansions but we’ll likely get them at some point in a future next gen update. I doubt we’ll get mansions for this update though. I can’t wait for mansions, it’ll be perfect for my retired and filthy rich character.
