Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, time to find another game to play. No point in bothering anymore if that doesnt work. I can take Cayo for a mil and a half and do all the prep in an Invite Only, but I can't sell 750k from my Nightclub without it getting blown up? Rockstar are getting so far away from me logic-wise I thnk it's time we saw other people until the day they put all business in Invite Only too.

WTF. Cayo Perico can be 1.5 million in under an hour all without seeing any players but biker businesses need to wait hours and do a really long boring mission for 100k profit and now have to be done in a lobby with people wanting to destroy it. Why the hell are R* wasting time fixing something that now pays poorly campared to CP instead of fixing actual bugs. I understand fixing money glitches and even the merge glitches since we are getting upgrades for free but why the hell make these boring and frustrating missions that a lot of people don't even do anymore even worse.

 

I'm retiring my female character and playing only on my guy now and I was going to buy the biker businesses on him to sell nightclub stock when I felt like it but I'm not wasting any money on businesses anymore.

GTA V coming to Game Pass, XCloud version too lol, it was available last year on Game Pass too if I´m not wrong, not the XCloud version but it was available for Xbox One..., I didn´t expect that they would release it again on Game Pass honestly, but there you go, you can play GTA V now in a legit way on your smartphone without a console lol

Expanded & Enhanced previews.

In truth though, Take 2 is a massive division and what they're there for might have nothing to do with anything relevant to this forum. However I'd expect some information about the Expanded & Enhanced version at the least.

That brings the problem of "free mode activities and indoors without loading screen. Imagine they open a public bar to play pool without indoors loading screens...and then some idiot start shuting from the outside and ruining the activity for those players.

No, it was always like that, in the end they give you that 10% and also the 100k for elite challenges also will go directly to bank account. Yeah, it's sometimes wierd how the money system that are in your pocket and in the bank account works, for example, sometimes when you go grab a drink from a vending machine, it toke you 1$ for your bank account, despite the fact you have money in your pocket and should be extracted from there. (Also did you guys noticed that the transaction history of your ban account is more detailed when you use the ATM's instead of your phone?).

The game needs some serious help with framerate issues, rebalancing and bug fixes, so I'm 100% ok with only getting content once per year if it means we get QoL improvements.

 

But nah, we know that ain't happening and they just gonna leave current gen rotting away in it's broken state so they can focus on E&E, financially wise it makes no sense to keep updating separate versions of the game.

I was trying to be ironic....i think old gen can take a April small Filler update and the summer update, and i agree that the Game need still Lot of fixes to Bugs and exploits... but Rockstar is focused in patching the thing for Xbox players so they cannot get an empty lobby (as PC player i feel your pain forumers).

If after the consoles problems and ee is launched and covid 19 situation gets under control, Rockstar should release 3/4 dlcs per year, like in 2016/17 if not is a Big waste imo.

I would say that they probably they will not make more than 2 dlc's per year, but at least they will be greater and larger, thus making the drip-feed longer and filling the gaps of what in other times were filled with filler dlc's.

Sorry if this is a bit of a B&M, but it's directly related to the next DLC, because it's stopped me looking forward to it and got me thinking about the people running the whole show and where all this is going and if that's an attractive destination.

 

I've long enjoyed this thread, but after finding out today that stopping solo public sessions was deliberate, and not accidental (clearly as it's now been done twice). In the space of one short day, it's changed the way I view the whole game.

 

GTA6 or whatever Online becomes in future is obviously going to be a 100% pay-to-win platform and it's going to be designed just for 10yr olds and fish cards, not for players.

 

Reading elsewhere, I can't even imagine the amount of players Rockstar lost today on xbox by doing this but it's got to be a massive number. Sure, I can make money doing Cayo in Invite Only, but my nightclub was one of my favourite things to do daily and now it's just a grief magnet the moment the truck spawns. I might as well shut it down.

 

I'm not sure the direction the suits are going is somewhere I want to go, so it's totally cured any interest for me in the next DLC. I mean, the next DLC from who? People who patch things that have been fine for years while allowing god-mode, cheats and glitches? I think perhaps lockdown has made some people get a bit isolated and weird.

 

Next DLC? I don't know what it will be, but I guarantee the moment I go to meet whoever is the contact and they tell me to go and pick up whatever is needed to set it up, I will be getting blown up, sniped and within 10 minutes I will be doing something else and GTA Online will get forgotten about.

 

What a crappy way to ruin something so good for literally zero purpose other than to force kids too young to legally even buy your game, let alone play it, to give you money for the win. What next, changing their logo to a pentagram? Talk about selling your soul.

 

I know it's just solo lobbies, but it's not, is it? It's a 50ft high billboard telling you where this franchise is going and I'm hopping off that bus way before we get there.

 

The brain-freezingly stupid thing is, there was always room for grinders, pure lovers and also after school little kids in this game. There was never any conflict between the groups. Having rich pros was a magnet to the kids aspirations. All they will end up with is lots of initial shark card sales and a platform that will be lucky to have any players left in 3 years after launch of whatever comes next. The numbers stayed so high because of the grinders, thus attracting the allowance spending kids.

 

Shuttng people like us down, as they have today, has shut down their entre business model. People buy shark cards to get set up, they don't keep doing it month after month. They are being run by clowns if they think otherwise. What a bunch of muppets.

I’d much rather get filler DLC than dripfeed. Nothing is worse than seeing content that you aren’t allowed to access for the sake of artificially extending the DLCs lifespan

I would be happy to never have another DLC if it meant applying quality of life fixes.

 

Removal or serious nerf of MK2.

Removal of godmode. Not patching it when glitches arise, I mean removing the ability to be unkillable in the first place. R* introduced it probably so that you can't get killed whilst in a particular harmless scenario. Just replace godmode with passive mode.

Removal of the orbital cannon.

Give all aircraft countermeasures.

Stop adding useless vehicles to the game that blow up in one rocket.

 

I could go on, but its just hopeless wishing at this point.

LSSS was a good filler update. And its contnet was better than the dripfeeded Cayo Perico content, so I rather the filler DLC's.

 

I hope the next DLC is released for GTA 6...ok I know that is almost impossible but you get the point. I can't imagine E&E being just a graphic update for an almost 8 year old game. At least I hope R* made some sort of "Redemption" DLC, with a lobby selector, all the current lobbies plus "Realistic" or something without meme vehicles, only the Zancudo jets and tanks. But well, dreaming is free

It's a fixed version of the Xbox version of v1.54 from 3 weeks back, only now it doesn't run the risk/guarantee of crashing the game when loading a new online session. While it's nothing massive or new for us the players, it is still a good thing, because now the devs have got all platforms singing from the same songsheet now.
