Look, if the site wants to disallow politics in game sections, that's fine. If they want to allow it, with rules of civil discourse observed, then that's fine, too. But I don't see them going after people just for posting a political position or affiliation.

Rockstar are not in an enviable position. They can't announce there won't be another DLC this gen, because people will stop playing, but they can't announce any potentially upcoming DLC too early, because too many people will start grinding. But then they're also having to deal with one of their 3 current platforms being one build behind, an update that got absolutely stripped down last year that they've build on top of since and have to consider how they'll go about reimplementing the stripped code & assets, the milestones for Expanded & Enhanced's development and when they can project that being ready to ship, would it be worth the strain on the studio getting guys to work on reimplementing CnC or even an entirely new update for this summer?

 

All that on top of the Work From Home situation, which bear in mind, has no end in sight on top of elections next month which are already seriously devisive over the question of "independence" that our current government with the horrifyingly authoritarian law they just passed which, technically, makes R*'s ability to develop and distribute the GTA franchise illegal... and our current government do NOT like Rockstar for the outdated excuses of the mid 2000's.

 

(Seriously, any American's, you DO NOT know what life is like without the 1st & 2nd Amendments).

Solution seems fairly simple: launch the mid-year update a bit early; sometime in May or early June, using the assets from the aborted mid-year update from last year. I say “release it early” because they most likely have all the assets on the backburner still, so there’s less dev resources needed compared to normal. 
Then follow this up with the December update launching at the same time as E&E version. Same day, with the update being cross-generation. Last update for current gen consoles. This way people have over a year to get next gen consoles, rather than just a few months from now.

real life is inherently political, so to remove all of that completely and act like it doesn’t exist isn’t just irresponsible, but it’s dishonest to the discussion we’re trying to have. Real world events are affecting the progression of DLC’s and E&E, so unless you want to just close the speculation thread entirely, I’d suggest you get over yourself.

Qabeta 2 updated 1 hrs ago , we hope they fix the god mode glitch using invalid job that are working from november 2020 , this is the longest glitch ever rockstargames took time to patch it they care only for money glitches btw this glitch ppl use it for car duplication also, each session now have at least 2-7 players using this glitch , GtaOnline are so broken now on consoles

I am talking about the player god mode there is only 1 player god mode the other two, speedo in nightclub and thats no wayyyyyyy they will patch it even in the enhanced version, and the other one in hangar using aircract  thats normal .......not harmful

Nope. I think if anything, GTA is going to become even more irreverent than ever. They have not lost a single one of these nuisance morals-suits. Not one.

I do think that they are getting more satires into the left ideologies since GTA V, bcz we are now in their "golden age", but i also agree with you that they satire more the right wing ideologies bcz they are more hypocritical and hipocrisy is a very good recipe for humor. And i say this, justas an opinion, but i find that to be true bcz, while some left ideologies and leftist ideologists do "progressive-anarchist leftist things", some people in the right wing, conservatives, etc., usually condemn their behaviours, but then in the shadow, some do what those "filthy people from the left do", so then, hipocrisy. Recent example here in european parliament, a congressman from a radical right wing party passed 30 years fighting against lgbt's...guess what...he was caught in a male orgy in Brussels. x) (you know, that thing that Freud explains...some people to deny their feelings act contrary of that. And of course, while seems logical and reasonable that there's quite some f*ckfeast with some radical left ideologies that for them we would turn society into caos, it's an unworkable utopia...but when you have the right saying the contrary and behaving the same way, the most radical left ideologies get some "credibility". But...going one step back...GTA...ok...

So i believe they will tune down the repercutions of their work and in this case dlc's...idk...in a criminal world would make sense a pimp dlc...but even in this community it's almost a taboo subject and pitch forks are raised when someone speaks about a pimp dlc, bcz some people automatically linked a pimp dlc with "human trafficking" which i don't think would be the point of a pimp dlc...you know...there's a lot of prostitution by free will being done in this world, in fact, it's what we say more in this nowadays...onlyfans, webcam girls, chaturbates, suggar babies, prostitutes fighting for getting their profession (if i can call it that, in all my humble opinion) and get social security with it. But what? Maybe a bunch of feminists would make a "pro-women's rights and against the patriarchy march" if a dlc like that would happen (would something "harmful" happen to R*? I suppose there will be a large DLC with the release of the enhanced version which will then be exclusive for the new gen (or why should you buy it then), at this point I expect no more new content for the current gen. So we will have at best one last DLC for current gen or am I too pessimistic?

Yea "At best one last DLC for current gen" sounds about right, and if we get one it will likely be of medium/small size (considering most developers etc will have been moved on to E&E by now & like you said, the next large dlc will most likely happen at the same time of E&E release)

 

IF we get one last DLC for current gen, i strongly believe it will be "Cayo Perico part 2" wich will be a bit simpler then casino part2 was, it just adds the diamond encrusted panther primary target and opens the remaining area's of the compound (where is el rubio? / we dont enter some parts of the compound) and possibly they might already tease a next island coming to E&E? They could just add a voice line while escaping the island or something "Kapitan, while you were partying in el rubio's compound i did a little sightseeing myself and i noticed another few islands in the distance, we should investigate this, but not right now"

Would be a Dick move from Rockstar release the panther only for a supossed cayo perico part 2, how can You make a trailer featuring the panther and not releasing it??, For me they Will release it a week or few weeks before the new dlc (whatever that might be) just for trolling purposes...would be Nice if they drop something like spring update surprise... that bf surfer that was cut from cayo perico, a few more vehicles and some new missions and go kart races but i have very low expectations at the moment, they seem to be more focused in patches nowadays

I don't believe we get more compound interieurs, the closed buildings likely are some sleeping or living rooms for the guards and El Rubio himself. El Rubio's living quarter might be in the main building a floor beneath his office, this might explains how quick he is in his helicopter once we're outside the compound, he should have a panic room by now

Iam not obsessed by any means for the statue, i don't like being trolled by Rockstar, they showed in the trailer the panther so anyone would have expected that this item was released within a few weeks along the cayo perico dripfeed content, almost 4 months has passed and yet the statue is not released, don't need the money either, just wanna experience robbing this item and get the achieve for steal all the variants of Loot.

i think quite a few glitches will die once the enhanced version get released, heck there are glitches that are kinda impossible to do in ps5 already due to how the menu system works.

 

the speedo glitch(if it still the same one that you spam the ps button while driving out of the nightclub) it cant be done on ps5, same with the casino wheel glitch.

 

someone correct me if im wrong.
