Further to my previous post about how you always know a DLC is close because we squabble over the little things, and how we would all soon be munching on a juicy Rockstar steak.

 

Of course, that was based on us actually getting a DLC. If however we get a 'Winter Special' then you're all a bunch of wankers and I'll see you outside in the car park.

 

 

At least unlike playing Arena Wars with the player base as it is, during Forum Wars you lot would actually know what you are doing lol.

yes, so on the 2nd of December, it will tell us when the DLC will release depending when the event week will end. It could end on December 9th, which is unlikely because DLC's have been released of tuesday all the time, so the most likely thing to happen is for the next event week to be extended from the 2nd to the 13th so the 14th will be the DLC. so on thursday, Friday and saturday we should get info along with a trailer probably a few days later.

doesn´t the interaction menu option to "clear" the personal vehicle do the same?

I thiiiink it does? But doesn't it force to to slow down or something like that? And since they're left standing they can angrily blast you back with a rocket or something. You know how some people take it when they get ejected from a car.

 

Nah, I want to LAUNCH them sky f*cking high straight out of the sunroof and keep on driving.

not sure if they changed it.

bc for the mk2 they had to change it so the character jumps off then even in mid flight.
not sure if that is now only for the mk2, or if that is for normal cars too

 

but yeah.
the mechanic already exists, since jets have it and you get thrown into the air while exiting when flying

But can we agree that if the AH dlc and the Music Locker had the quality and content of The Ballad of Gay Tony, people wouldn be there more often but instead they become empty buildings that no one uses?

Only good part of tuners were the contracts and exotic exports. While nothing special, they're kinda fun at least

The best part of tuners was probably the halloween event and camheadz lmao

 

Tuners just doesn't have anything useful in it for me. Nothing fun, for me at least in some boring cars in a world of fighter jets and oppressors

If some remember back some time ago, I was grinding to 50 mil? I'm at 43 mil after blowing some on the summer update, hoping i can grind before December 15th!

Some may remember this post I made 1 year ago (as of yesterday). So, I've grinded to a blowing 82 million since then, and continue the goal to 100 million. I think I can do it this year lol

I never went past the 20 million mark myself, and that was a few years ago when I got the CMM challenge done.

 

Ever since then, I usually stop grinding between 5 to 10 millions.

I actually did the same back before Tuners was released, it was a little easier back then since the gold glitch still worked so you could get a bit of extra money compared to if you got 2 piles of coke.

I think the lowest I got since then was about 39 million and I've grinded back up to 50 million since then, which should be enough I hope. Wish you the best of luck with your grind

I don't see the point, really.

I never really did over 20 million before July 2020,  however, I got tired of having barely any money for all the new toys and when I want something, I have to grind for the cost of it or start downsizing. So I created a goal for myself,  a goal I never thought I would ever achieve: I wanted to reach 50 million, which I reached and spent some of the money on the 2020 Summer update. Also, wanted to reach 50mil again before December 15th 2020. I don't think I made it before then, although since then, I have used just about every source in the game and took advantage of events/high paying jobs to bring that number higher. I finally reached 70 Million before the 2021 summer update came out, which then I was able to buy all the things I wanted and still have a huge amount left over. 

Now, I thought, If I made it this far … why not push another 18 million? It's easy, make 2 million a day (4-5 most times) with a friend for a couple hours a day or less. There is also the 2x Money and RP events, Lobby crates for the Nightclub and Stock Selling. There is also the perfect method of the Casino Heist on Aggressive and The Big Con (Security) with the take on Artwork. 

It's just to have a crap ton of money and to prove that it's really not hard to make money and not spend your hard earned cash on Shark Cards (Which I'm 100% guilty of doing in the past).

ok? that doesn't mean it doesn't have cool stuff or variety? it arguably has more content than either of the updates I listed, new races, new tuner hangout with test track, new cars (obviously), new property with garage space and customization, new mini heists, I agree the rank progression is bullsh*t but everything else is more than either I/E or Executives and to say it doesn't have variety is just ridiculous

I'm very surprised to see so many more ways of making money (which I have been blinded in the past of) and just how easy it is to do. The biggest one myself and a friend do is The Casino Heist on Aggressive and The Big Con (Security) with the take on Artwork. You get close to 1 million each time (950k) both with 2 players. If you can pull 2 - 5 a day (myself and a friend do preps for our own at the same time) , you can make an insane amount in quick time ... not to forget about the many other ways such as businesses).

50 is more than enough, my goal is to prove to myself that it is not hard to become a multimillionaire, which believe it or not.. I used to whine and moan about all the time, so It's great to realize this and to also help people who are in the same boat as I once were, they can make make themselves a multimillionaire very easily. It also comes down to controlled spending. 

I don't think these updates are more than 10 -12 million at a cost, which you can make back by selling what you don't like from the update or pull some more jobs and heists to make that back in a few days.

That my friend is addiction and OCD all together. I think it's the problem with the grinders. You be like: "hum, i have 20...no enough to buy things, about about 50? Hum 50, but, why not 70? And now, with not a 100? Well, i may go to 110 to preserve those 100 bcz it's a good looking number, since i will go spend money in the next update. When you notice, you are with half billion in the pocket and i have a friend that reached 1 billion!

I also have quite the millions, but if was today i wouldn't make so much money, bcz you never know when R* will f*ck up your account due to a mistake or an assumption that bcz you have X money it looks too much for a normie player so it must be modded money. Lmao, it was what happened to me when i had 331M but fortunately and with patience i proved that the money was legit and they gave me back. But it's a f*cking trauma seeing like 5 or 6 years of grind go to the waste. That's why i would recommend to not reach more than 50M for each DLC, then you don't rise any doubts in the people that from a press of a button can f*ck your progression.

@Pedinhuh has the right idea, 5-10mil is all you should have on your bank account, unless you are either a machogist or just dont want to play the game anymore.

For a few years now each DLC brings 20-30 mil worth of stuff (people often forget about clothes & related items, as did @Grinch of Los Santos by the looks of things, plus there's always the dripfeed of more pricey vehicles too) and you should not be able to buy everything you want on DLC-launch, because that ruins the whole thing

 

The "core gameplay loop" is making and spending money, you play missions to get money, you use that money to get some new vehicle or building or whatever, then repeat. If you have large sums of money ready to be spent, as weird as it may sound you dont really have a reason to play the game anymore, you can just buy sh*t and be oblivious to the value/effort that you put in. If you run around with a large bank account you essentially screw yourself out of the sense of achievement that you get when you've grinded together the money for something.

Consider the below example, a new DLC just dropped and we look over the shoulders of two players, who do you think will get bored with the game first? (as a whole, not this specific example dlc)
- 666mil bank account user, has long forgotten the struggle that got them past the 650mil mark, buys everything day 1 & then complains how half of it sucks day 2, has lost all interest in the DLC within a week
- 5mil bank account user, still remembers the struggle they had to go trough to earn that, just buys 1-2 things they really want on day 1, starts grinding & researching for everything else, slowly gaining a few more cool things (and avoiding the bad purchases) in the coming days/weeks

Im sorry, i totally get how some of you like having large bank accounts as some kind of achievement & i totally respect that, but in my experience most of you will stop playing for extended periods of time or entirely, because in the end you will start using the money and then you have no more reason to play

 

@Grinch of Los Santos I sincerely hope you can have a large bank account without it essentially ruining the game, but you'd be a rare case if you manage that. Good luck to you sir!

During covid shutdowns I got to a hundred million and now I'll be set for at least two updates. I did this once before years ago as well. It really frees you up to play the activities you want instead of the most lucrative ones.

From someone that have everything in the game twice (two characters with garages and properties at full capacity) and that had invested 2.3B in stuff, don't make too much cash before an update, because when it hits you will just buy everything and this in my view, kinda spoils the update, having to make money after it makes you play the update content. I never understood this obsession people have in grinding to have big numbers, money is to buy goods, there is an old saying: Money is round* to roll.
