I doubt it will be another system, the current one has 1000 ranks and virtually nothing of note to unlock after rank 500. Maybe more unlockable stuff in the current system or, if there is a God, a reworking of the current ranks/point earning/rewards.

It is a matter of waiting for which vehicles we will receive because being a dlc more than December they are usually large (hopefully this is large)

I sure hope there's new aircraft.. atleast hovercraft? I mean the deluxo serves that purpose already but for vanity's sake? At least it would be a bit different from regular cars

Bangers indeed, those are some of my favourites from the label too. R* has always been heavily involved with music and I think it only makes sense for the label to make it into the games too, it doesn't mean in any way, shape, or form that the DLC's from now on are ALL based on music or Circoloco lmao, I don't know why this discourse is still a thing. They will surely have stuff from it, it is R* property now after all, but as you said it's all subjective, and whereas some people don't like any of the music (which is fair ofc), I'm personally also looking forward for what's coming in the future.

Yeah I'm not sure why stuff like that keeps being thrown around, including celebrities in the DLC's doesn't mean other fixes and additions can't come lmao. There's a ton of devs at R* North and probably other studios working on all this stuff for months, while the celebrity deals, voice recordings etc are done at R* NYC. Even if the main devs at R* North are responsible for putting the celebs in the game itself, this doesn't take away from any other changes they want to do. If major quality of life improvements aren't within the scope of the DLC they planned, then it's not a celebrity appearance that's gonna change that, and vice versa of course.

Every single DLC.  People look at past DLC's with rose-tinted glasses but there's always criticism about stuff every time a new one releases. When another one is announced or teased, there's always someone saying how previous ones were better, rinse repeat. Sure not all DLC's are for everyone, I don't think they're supposed to be - one can dislike Tuners but like crazy heists below Chiliad (I for instance don't like the Doomsday Heist too much) and vice versa, but truth is the last few have been pretty well received even with all the discourse about Moodymann and Sessanta's... tension. . Cayo Perico also had celeb appearances and it's a good content pack, included a new location, blah blah.

To me it makes zero sense to think that including celebs like DJ Pooh, Dr. Dre (who was already in Cayo anyway...) and such affect the production of the DLC's negatively. Plus as I mentioned earlier R* has always had a large involvement in the music industry and such, it's not surprising we're seeing celebs in GTA Online DLC's. It also helps with marketing a ton, really. Don't forget that DJ Pooh is also basically a R* employee - he has been a writer since San Andreas, and his website domain is owned by T2.

This is always gonna be an eternal point of discussion because not everyone will like all kinds of DLC's and what content they include, so... Bring on "Fixers" and our returning friend(s).

i won't judge until i see the actual contents of the update, but more of the tuners formula doesn't seem like that big of an update to me...especially for something like december. I know we can't have bangers like DCH or CPH every year, but...I dunno. I'll hold any hype or negativity both until i see what's actually happening

I think it's early to say it's gonna be the Tuners formula just from the tweet or the Fixers title tbh, but hopefully we see sooner rather than later.

I don't need another heist. I need a good story that is so lacking in GTA Online. Online still has great potential, but instead of using it, people get excited by the celebrity cameos, and that only hurts the game, not improve it. 

 

Well, the problem with the public social spaces are they are basicallty empty and don't have anything to do inside. Idk why they made the personal nightclubs so bland...dancing with npc's and/or players? No. Drinking mini-game? No. Dancing mini-game itslef? No. "WC visits?" No. A TBOGT kinda dlc basically? No. But let's put here some Kifflom outfit by tipping 500-ish dolars to the janitor and waste 20 minutes to give players a hidden outfit that if wasn't from data-miners no one would ever knew about it. With the Music Locker they improved a little bit. Now you can interact with another player to dance - but it's basically just some animations that the characters perform and you just watch them - but that was so poorly marketed that almost no one knew about that new feature. And even if an entire or at least half lobby came about to make a party in there, i believe that there wouldn't be space for everyone due the fact that the npc's there takes almost every space in there. And it was quite lazy...it's basically a reskin of the default nightclub that we own and it's kinda small. And the VIP area is always occupied by the madrazzo family and friends, lmao.

New clothes that aren't reskins we could have more, specialy valentine's update i think that it's been since 2016 that we don't have new lingeries, mafia outfits, etc. And also haircuts, of course. But one thing that i think that R* never dissapoints is the tattoos, they are quite nice and some indeed spectacular.

I believe that they could give heists or mini-heists (that was basically the practical side of making money in this update) could get some time-out. I would like to focus in the continuation of our criminal empire with new types of bussinesses, like a said, one that comes to my mind immediately would be a pimp dlc bcz it's normal for gta standards...but i don't know if R* is affraid of launch a dlc like that bcz hypotethical backlashes from sjw's and radical feminists.

Like i said above...it's just a matter of making them practical, with activities that people would enjoy, making them having a meaning and/or be useful, like restaurants or fast-food chains to recover health. Ok. But then, why not making the activity like you could play some cards meanwhile you're sitting with your friends at the table? Or giving a public arcade space that there's going to have billiards, bowling, pinball machines and of course arcade machines with pvp/co-op games. Bcz i really believe that this would be in the best Rockstar's interests. Simply because, while people would be distracted in those activities, having real fun in them, R* would profit bcz those people wouldn't being grinding in the meantime, so more shark cards for them. It would be a win-win situation! Puuaaaahhh!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that R*s are saints and we should eat up any crap that comes out of there ass. There have been truly terrible additions to the game, but you cannot say that they don't put money into the GTAO. Compare 2014 DLCs to the newest ones. Did we really forgot that we used to get 4 cars, 1 or 2 weapons and few shirts and that's it? Compare the vehicles, how much more detailed and much more tunable they are. So on and so forth. 

In the end R* is a business, they cut corners and it works. Each update is more popular than the other. Those are the facts you cannot deny and you won't change. I'd suggest you go with the flow, for now, instead of complaining about something that we don't even know what it will look like...

Well, cars indeed improved A LOT in terms of customization, there's OG cars that don't even have bumpers to upgrade. But i think that R* noticed very early that there was a magical thing that would make people buy almost any car, even if they had sh*tty performances or are even from a category/class that people irl don't like that much: Liveries. Although one of my major complains with the customization are the spoilers, usually aren't that good and when a super car come out and irl have some crazy (in the good way) spoiler, R* usually just don't recreate them and they give us those "iron board" spoilers and call it a day.

The tuner dlc was fine to me the only thing I hate is the Mr &Mrs moodyforker.

The cars were overpriced but low rank player can also get the cars they want from weekly objective.(But they should not restrict the race to thaw tuner map)

In the same time the casino keep update the podium list. Even u are not a grinder, u can get 1 to 2 cars every week easily.

Missions can be either solo or cooperate. The mini heist payout is reasonable(If it released b4 casino patch, it is a good way to make money)anyway the quality of those missions were petty bad with trash talk and glitch.

Comparing with the well made apartment heist, challenging doomsday heist and changeable casino heist and Cayo island heist....those auto shop heist petty made me down.

 

The tuner dlc is not great but they did improve something.

Can't recommend it but I won't say it it totally sh*tty. As a small dlc it's fine.

If r* read player feedback, they should know what the community think about content like nightclub or tuner and will do something different in fixer dlc

- Look i agree KDJ and whats-her-face are an annoying bunch, but to take that as the new base-line is just weird, look at the last few dlc, try name any 'important' characters besides those two that have been poorly written or acted? yea i cant find any either, just because in a lot of people's opinion those two kind of sucked doesn't mean they are not well written (more like the opposite? we're all going along with their acting?) nor does it mean all npc's will be like that in the future.

- Heists keep the wheels of the money printer spinning, its the biggest source of income for most of the player base & the thing that keeps bringing back record numbers of players (read: pleases R*, T2 & investors), besides that i would very much love if you can explain how a celebrity cameo hurts the game? Please tell me you understand that there are different teams & studios doing different things at R*? just because some celebrity shows up doesn't mean they add one less car or anything like that??

A week ago, Rockstar issued out a background update that patches a workaround unpatched by a previous update.

 

Today, a new background update went live that simply patches another workaround to GC2F glitch.

 

So far, no new additions to the podium list with the Squaddie being the last one on the list. If we don't receive an announcement by Thursday, then the next event shall reveal when we should expect the DLC.

And they unpatched old GCTF glitch again because their developers are weak and when they release a hotfix , they chose to release easy soft hotfix and thats why they unpatched old glitches hahaha ( R* Logic ) They always patch and unpatched old glitches
