I srsly doubt they would make Casino themed dlc for the 3x. Its not like there's a huge potential for new missions in those old interiors. I guess they could add another wing/another floor with new minigames, but thats about it.

Same reason why I don't think its gonna be Tuners part2. The same exact theme 2x in a row? When people forgot about the first one after a week or two? Not to mention people who were not interested in that theme to begin with. Sure, they checked it out the first time around but doing it again? Casuals might not even notice its a new dlc. I just think R* would want to focus on something different, something that might attract more people.

The only thing we know for now is that Dr Dre is involved and someone stole his music. That sounds like a simple collectibles mission like we seen before. On the other hand, its Dr. Dre... Im sure they would use him for something more than a simple scavenger hunt, right?

Nightclubs part2? Well... its not like Dr Dre is a DJ, I can't see him performing in our tiny little nightclubs. And that got me thinking about something we talked years ago - Maybe this time we have to organize a concert for him? You know, the same thing we did for Phil Collins in VCS? They could even introduce other artists. Love Fist reunion tour perhaps? 
 

 



edit: the trilogy remaster already has Fortnite characters. They might as well add Fortnite concerts to gtaonline

There's pretty big potential for story continuation though, both the casino story (however you look at it, Chengs got bullied out of their casino, would make a lot of sense for them to try take it back again) and the singleplayer story (Lester is directly involved with the death of the father of Georgina Cheng, the girl he tries to impress & then smooches with at the end of the heist)

Besides that, part3 of casino doesn't necessarily need to take place inside of the casino, it can just feature (mostly) the same people. For example it could be heisting the backstabbing nephew (i assume he now owns that ranch?) it could be Lester realizing hes being played & him running a heist on some Cheng family mansion, it could be Chengs heisting Lester (or trying to anyway and getting away with a relatively small sum, guy has to be a billionaire anyway so that would still be millions) etc

Oh thats what you meant. Yeah, I can see continuation of the storyline, just without the Casino as the main focus, so it wouldn't really be "casino part 3". Maybe Lesters GF finds out about it and she kidnaps him so now we have to save Lester or something like that. That could be the first part. The second part could be about getting Lesters money back.

But then that leaves you with a question - where would the heist take place? It would have to be a new location. Like a new mansion, ship in the ocean or another island etc.

edit: You know what would be fun? a "Die Hard heist". Where instead of heisting, we have to get out of a sticky situation. Maybe someone kidnaps us and we have to run away. Or just literally the plot of Die Hard (with a different ending where you steal the money for yourself)

Tuners Part 2 is a possibilty down the line as after you unlock all of the current trade prices there are others but not tied to a car. Maybe R* didnt expect everyone to grind through the races and go AFK to the extreme they have done?

Hopefully in the future people can purchase rims & etc that are locked like in Arena War.

 

Tuners Part 2 would be awesome, they should add the Dinka Blista Kanjo Coupe (EM1 Civic SI) & a Elegy Retro Sedan (R32 Sedan)

After hours part 2 with a hip hop feel to it and dr. dre is one of the musicians you can have in the nightclub. They could have us buy new clubs (maybe gentleman style) or just expand on existing clubs.

I've been thinking. What if we need to aquire the Driller to drill under the new secret location containing the music and personal files of Dr Dre? I'm sure we're getting a new HQ to plan the heist and i think we're getting new constructions props by the new location. On top of the MCH would be a great hiding place. It's in the middle of the city, good coverage and easy to access. I dont expect it to be completely finished though, just the top being rebuild as a HQ.

We also could go undercover in the IAA building as IAA agents. It already has a complete interiour as of today. The interiour is quite big with already existing conference rooms and anyone who glitched inside the IAA would know there is plenty of room to set up an HQ and even sleepinq quarters.

I think we already did that for some prep/setup missions. I don't see what else they could use that interior for

As I said earlier, I feel like our nightclub is just too small to host Dr. Dre's concert. And I don't see how could they possibly expand that interior.  Its possible they would just add a different club just for him, but buying yet another club just for that? Eh, I'd rather own a small biker bar or something.

I think they either gonna use one of the theaters I posted earlier. Or... here's another idea - maybe they gonna reuse Arena War interiors?

Right, I think using those to even advertise future DLC/games/Rockstar news would be cool, and to actually have events happen around town, replace billboards with in-universe ads about future (or current) content... There's a lot of stigma behind the live service and live events thing but I think there's great potential even for games like GTAO, it doesn't need to be exactly like Fortnite or themed around the same things...

Live events are only doable in freemode if they force everyone in the lobby to be in passive. I can only imagine the horror in an event where 30 people gather around with some sweaty nerds in their facility with drool out of their mouths spamming orbitals. It wouldn't be a Fortnite or Warzone esque event if people are devided in Official R* jobs/modes where the event takes place. I would LOVE to see some freemodes live events suchs as this:

Naval DLC - You can see the silhouette of various battleships on the horizon as they approach Vespucci Beach.  They will fire their canons at the MCH destroying the entire building revealing the secret facility inside or underneith it. Ofcourse a title update needs to be installed before the event to do this kind of stuff, but still it would be cool and something fresh in GTAO.

If R* was planning a Dr Dre concert (big if) in the December dlc, what are the odds of them removing it due to what happened in the Travis Scott concert the other night?

Epic Games is able to do that with Fortnite because their workflow allows them to push new title updates from time to time. Whereas Rockstar only push new title updates/patches when urgent bugs have to be addressed or necessary improvements have to be introduced.

 

Plus, anything that involves assets cannot be adjusted to hint at future content without a new title update. They can't introduce in-universe ads hinting at future content without having those ads added as dripfeed with the latest update. (Unless, these ads are simply texts, then that would be possible to do) Which would be found instantly by people digging thru the files. Unless, E&E brings drastic changes to some functions within the game. RDR2, for example, has real-time patching allowing them to push background updates that can adjust audio files or any other assets. However, that's yet to be utilized to hint at future updates in RDO. Instead, GTA Online receives teasers of future content without even having that type of functionality.

Yup, what I was speculating about would obviously only fit in future games/larger core engine updates, but given RDR2 seems to have taken steps in this direction (even if it's unused thus far) it might not be that far fetched somewhere in the future, or for GTAO 2.  I can see them using that feature from RDR2 in GTA VI.

I dont think it will change much. Things like that will happen but the world will move on. I mean its by far not the first time stuff like that happend. Evt they will have more safety bc of the latest event but i dont think that they will change huge things.

Stuff like that won't cause any outrage, it happened before (i.e. Altamont '69), is happening now and it will happen in the future. 

 

Don't get me wrong, I do feel for the victims families, it's a tragedy, but this event won't cancel whatever R* has in store with Dr Dre. If it was colab with Travis, then I'd totally see LSSS/CnC situation again.

How sure are we in what capacity or if all dr dre would be featured in next update or be a focus of it? Apart from some insta post unreleated to him and snoop interview about supposed new music in gta game there is nothing else if i'm not mistaken correct?
