I would say the main issue with doing something like adding aircraft carriers now is that it might clutter the surrounding water in public sessions since players already have yachts and kosatkas

The water area is huge. That wouldn't be a problem.

they can always extend the water barriers and put the aircraft carriers far out.

Naval DLC concept: "The fleet"

 

Property's: Aircraft carrier (work's like yachts) - $9,000,000 - $15,000,000

Upgrades - Flag - $25,000

                  - liveries (U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, U.S.S. Luxington, etc.) - $50,000 each

                 - Aircraft storage (small to medium aircraft) - $500,000

                 - Boat storage (small to medium) - $450,000

                 - catapult (front flight deck) - $750,000

                 - crew (military personal that help run the ship and defend against attackers) - $250,000

                 - upgrade bench - $300,000

                 - boat and aircraft customisation - $600,000

 

Features - teleport to 30 spots far out at sea

               - Air defences (CWISE, Side Rocket Launcher's, Anti-sub torpedos)

               - horn

               - Alarm (used for when players who arent friends or crew are detected approaching the carrier)

               - piracy prevention vip mission ( pays out $90,000)

               - sleeping quarters 

               - air craft lift

               - air radar (spots off radar aircraft in the area. Only activated when in the islands control room)

 

 

Business: Start operations from your aircraft carrier and go out to sea and salvage military goods from smugglers and merry weather private security across the seas and shores of San Andreas. You can also fight rival players for their cargo in new attack boats and mini submarines. Store your cargo in your aircraft carrier and sell them to overseas buyers for high prices. Go big and take risks whilst moving your cargo in a slow but heavily armed destroyer with a convoy of friends in jets and helicopter or take a faster more nimble boat and go lone wolf. 

 

 

Characters: Agent 14 (sells you the decommissioned carrier) 

                   - Bogdon (Ships captain)

                   - matimio (Ships mechanic)

                   -SGT Kyle P. Slater (business person)

 

 

Weapons: Heavy assault rifle (SCARH) - $360,000 - attachments (Laser sight (new), scope, suppressor, grip, extended clip, flash, tints)

                - Programmable AR - $500,000 - attachments (extended clip, grip, tints)

                - underwater assault rifle ( only available when under water ) $150,000 - attachments - scope, extended clip, flashlight, grip)

 

Vehicles: weaponised dingy MKll - $600,00 conversion - customisation - (armour, colour, headlights, engine, weapons (50 cal minigun or stock gun), ammo boxes (cosmetic)

               - rhino tank MKll (M1 Abrahams) - $700,000 conversion - customisation - (armour, panels (armoured panels/ammo boxes), headlights, weapons (secondary - grenade launcher, 50 cal), brakes, horn)

               - Sqaudiee MKll - $500,000 conversion - customisation - (armour, colour, all the normal stuff the sqaudiee can get + weapons, 50. cal minigun, 50.cal machine gun, 25mm grenade launcher, SAM battery)

              - titan MKll - $800,000 conversion - customisation - (armour, colour, brakes, handling, liveries, JATO, countermeasures, weapons (explosive MG - side mounted gun, 50. cal minigun - side mounted gun, cannon - side mounted gun (acts like a tank cannon) (all guns are controlled by passengers)

               

New vehicles: sea hawk - $2,750,000 - customisation - (armour, colour, handling, liveries, countermeasures,  weapons (50.cal gun, 50.cal minigun, homing missiles), windows)

                      - MKVI Patrol Boat $4,300,000 - customisation - (armour, colour, brakes, liveries, colour, headlights, weapons (primary - 25mm explosive MG (controlled by driver), secondary - 50. cal machine gun, 50. cal minigun (side mounted guns), anti-sub torpedos (driver controlled)

                      - landing craft - $2,350,000 - customisation - (armour, colour, liveries, brakes, weapons (dual 50.cal guns)

                      - F35-B $5,000,000 - customisation - (armour, colour, brakes, handling, liveries, countermeasures, weapons (homing missiles, bombs, explosive burst cannon)

                      - Destroyer - $10,500,000 - (the MOC of this update) - customisation (armour, colour, liveries, flag, name, weapon workshop, weapons (mortar, 50.cal guns, guided missile, 50mm cannon (primary cannon)

I think there's a good chance we'll see a naval themed DLC eventually, especially because it's been oft-requested for years like a Tuners themed DLC was, that is, if Tuners still isn't going to be expanded, I have a hunch it might one day. I'm not sure we'll ever see Cops and Crooks, maybe a similar concept, but we'll see what the future brings.

We already have yachts, submarines and all that, so a naval DLC could very well add a lot to those existing features, and add new stuff like aircraft carriers to store your aircraft, something crazy like a yacht heist or similar, etc.

I could dig this, especially if it used the Kosatka for more stuff, added the aircraft carrier the the map permanently (no, we are never getting our own, that’s just silly) and adds some new jets like the F-14, F-18, F-35B, SU-47, and maybe an old classic like a P-38 Lightning on top of more weaponized boats. The problem with weaponized boats, as illustrated by the gunner dinghy and Kurtz, is that the waves make it extremely hard to hit anything with MGs. They will need weapons with lock on systems to be truly worth adding IMO.. not to mention they would need them to stand a chance against jets and helis and broomstick fart sniffers.

Naval DLC is awesome !

This kind of update would be the perfect opportunity to add a new two-seater fighter. The player in the back seat will be able to lock on to vehicles whether it's above, beside or behind the plane. He will also have access to a TV missile (which works like the ones in Battlefield 3, only 4 missiles to be balanced and avoid spawn kill). I think it's possible, just reuse what was implemented with the Kosatka. For the rest, the "model" of the aircraft is not important, just a "modern" fighter would be amazing. Dassault Rafale-B maybe ?..but I'm not too hopeful, if it were to happen, I would still be happy with a bland Super Hornet. Unfortunately I really think that if they have to add fighters, it will be F22, F35 and/or something Russian. On some point Rockstar has always had great ideas but poorly implemented. A great idea can become a nightmare for players, you have to be careful what you wish for, I think the infamous Oppressor MK2 was a great idea, on paper. By the way, after the After Hour DLC, Rockstar has been pretty wise about armed vehicles.

Otherwise, an update of the sea bed, with missions, we would have a new vehicle: Diver Propulsion Vehicle, and a new weapon that can shoot underwater. I don't know how to make it interesting but for me it is, I like it.

I personally hope R* are done with the military stuff, but that said, if they do another military update, naval would be the natural choice imo. Many aspects of it now exist through other updates (yachts, subs etc) and it would make sense to flesh that area of the game out with its own update.

At the moment we do not know much what the next dlc will be
although we do not know if there will be dlc because gta 5 E E will be released in November although it has few changes at the same time there are many events such as halloween the anniversary of gta 3 although it is also little
that if something was discovered inside the archives something from the after hours nightclubs just that

If they're doing a naval DLC rhat add more aircraft carriers to the game, then it won't be to current gen.

 

One single aircraft carrier far away from LS is enough to chop down the framerates on the base consoles by half already, imagine 30 of them.

Naval doesn't necessarily have to be military oriented, it can be about drug smuggling. You know, fast boats, lots of cocaine & whatnot. This is an opportunity to bring back El Rubio.

 

The map in it current form doesn't really support it, but with E&E they'll be more flexible. A few small island here and there, they can hit 2 birds with one stone if they play their cards right. The update can have a private island, a customizable mansion with an airstrip & a Hangar, a boat yard, the whole works.

 

They'll have to add Smugglers Blues to LSRR though.

They can add new races, new missions for Hao & Mimi, new clothes & cars like the NSX, 300ZX, New Z, RX8, Integra, Silvia S15, an E46, updated GT-R35, GR 86 & a couple of proper EVOs, maybe a pair of Camaros or Chargers for that muscle car twist.

Also true, we do have Cayo Perico after all. We may have robbed El Rubio silly 870 million times, but it could potentially be reused in future content I reckon.

Yessir. They can spin it as us helping him recover & getting even with the Madrazos to make amends. We're hired guns after all & turning on people we worked for is a classic GTA move. Salvatore (2x), Kenji, Diaz, Sonny & so on, why not add the Madrazos to the list lol.

Well they could also theoreticly sell us cayo perico as a property. Complete with additional hangarspace, a boatdock (for PV boats), additional garagespace, a drug bussiness and even a few more goodies considering that there are a few contructionsites on the island.

The base model could be in the range of about 5 Million and addind all upgrades would increase that to 15 Million.

That would mean the base model is still in their cashcard range (remember the swift deluxe is around that pricerange) while the fully upgraded one would be something to milk the whales with.

Whats wrong with Mini Madrazo?

I admit he might be a bit over the top and him giving of that "rich boy a$$hole" vibe does not make him the most likeable person. However I dont really see him as an antagonist.

Give me a Hydra MKII (GTA:SA Hydra, proper Harrier II), a F-4, and a F-14. We get those and the deal is sealed for me. Also props for thinking about my poor mans the Titan.

If you want to add a new tank in a naval-themed update, the M551 Sheridan would be a great addition.
While not as strong as the Rhino, this tank is amphibious and can be transported by plane.
A new heist mission based on the operation of this tank would definitely be crazy.

Simply put I find him as a lazy excuse to not use Martin, and he's an annoying twat.

If we're ripping him off then I'd like the opportunity to cap his annoying ass

i'm just wondering if they're gonna do something more with the LSCM over time, similarly to the casino. Just feels weird to make a character like Mimi, have her on the cover art, and then overshadow her with an infinitely more annoying character like Sessenta

We definetly need Hao and Mimi with bigger roles if they plan a part 2, the cringe from kdj and sessanta is insufferable

It doesn't make sense to bring Hao's VA back for two lines....

I believe the theory that those were originally the focal characters until Moody took over with his annoying self insert

If we get militarized stuff, I just want it to be equipment that it would make sense for a multimillionaire criminal to have. Give us a tank that doesn’t suck, and maybe some more decommissioned aircraft and boats.

I don't care much what the update is, just give me more garage space and please if it is water update, don't make the drip feed consist of a bunch of f*cking boats.

Tuners Part II on the other hand, gimme that, add more than 10 new garage spaces, a slew of mostly well done cars, do away with moody mouth and the skank and it'll be virtually perfect update to me.

I definitely feel that a Tuners Part 2 is more likely since the whole DLC's theme reminds me of how Lowriders played out. One thing I wonder is how long it will take for R* to stop adding updates to the PS4/XB1 versions of the game and completely move onto E&E's online

Maybe the LSPD will be hiring people to crack down on the burgeoning Tuners scene? So we could get CnC except re-themed to be around illegal street racing.
