Sweet, Growler next week! Has anybody got the oversized shades here at all? I think they should stop giving new collectibles out until they fix this BS. I haven’t got my Obey shirt, my coveralls, glasses, or half the money that’s supposed to be rewarded. I’ve sent R* support videos of me completing the tasks and they don’t even respond. So, so sh*tty and unprofessional..

No glasses here yet. My latest ticket is being ignored much like the previous couple. It's a joke of a system!

I got my answer today after 19 days of waiting and said that  cant get my lost thing back bc they are advertising items (they arent btw :/)

FYI you can access your garages during the Lost contract, and also (thanks rockstar) you can store your Phantom Wedge as the cab.

Lol 3 sprints 4 days in a row which are laggfest for one of the subpar cars of this update. This might be worth for better performers like calico or jester rr, but slow futo... GTFO. 

I might try to do it because i'm still grinding rep and winning around 3 sprints or more everyday can be done, but only for those who play them anyway. For those who can't stand lagg and rammers at all, it's just better to play cp heist for 1 hour and buy that car. Either way futo gtx at least for me is one of the worst cars of an update when it comes to handling, slow and uncontrollable on higher speed (yea i know it's supposed to be a drift car). And for drifting experience rt3000, 350z and remus are better anyway.

Did a few test laps in the Growler and I thought it handled pretty well. The Fleeca Livery looks fun for doing The Bank Contract.

 

I haven't gotten any rewards in a couple weeks besides a money one I think. I'm too lazy to send R* support though.

On one hand it would be cool of R* to officially release the Lost Slamvan but on the other, I do enjoy the exclusivity of having one. Kept mine completely stock, thanks again Classique!

Did they do a background update in between tuesday and yesterday?

When I entered the car meet last evening and got close to the testdrive cars a prompt appeared that told me to press Y to destrive the car and X to buy it. I have not seen this before and I had to enter the cars to be able to testdrive them before yesterday.

I take it the Lost outfit is available after finishing the contract? Are there more outfits than the one some people had already got/unlocked before?

I made a video about it but seems like they erased the post where i put the link, which idk why, bcz embeded videos isn't lacking over here. But the coveralls aren't in the same place of the rest of those items.
About the gifts, (i didn't log in today yet) i still don't got the glasses, only the 2nd char received the blue variant. And idk what's going on with this and it's the 3rd week they give us this:



I mean...we receive this jacket only after August 18 or as soon as we enter in the LSCM?! Bcz it's the 3rd time they say: "yo, get the jacket, it's your final opportunity", but if it's just unlocked after going to the LSCM, then it's bugged! Bcz i go there a lot of times and never got the jacket...

There's four outfits of stevedore in one of the previous heists. The train robbery. In the mission you need get into the ship to stole the material, if you put the disguise, then the outfits will be unlocked in your wardrobe.

Curiousity got the better of me on my first go of the Lost contract... and R* have done it again., 2 updates in a row.

 

On the Lost MC Contract, you can absolutely call in your Phantom Wedge as the truck cab to deliver on the Transport Method setup AND Moodymann will acknowledge you've brought a Phantom Wedge come the finale. I think R* know players will use that as a default option if they have it and now always make sure to write in an extra line for that situation. And I was thinking the Wedge wouldn't be allowed since lore-wise it's being left in the hands of someone else between the setup and finale... no, you can still use it like nobodies business after completing that setup.

not sure if its the answer to your question, but 2 of these 3 cars have the test AND the buy option (these cars have been already released)

1 of these cars (the new one) is not purchasable until net week, so there is only the test option.

Anyone knows if some liveries are gonna be dripfeed?? I Saw customization videos about the vectre and the sword boy livery is missing...

Having the contracts cycle is so stupid. I want to play the new one but looks like I waited too long because the only ones available are 3 old constructs. They always have to do sh*t backwards and over complicated stuff.

Yeah. I had 3 old ones, did some free mode bits until it popped up they've changed, still 3 old ones, lol. Figured I'd run one in hope it changes and I get the new one. Fingers crossed!

Start one of the unwanted ones and cancel it by calling Sessanta. You will get a new cycle. Repeat if the new one isn't in the list. Way faster than waiting for the programmed cycle change. Have fun

Nope!

Nor the Los Santos Tour jacket which I keep making a ticket on and get the robotic "We're still giving the Los Santos pre-DLC stuff out" like bitch no you ain't! I was missing the coveralls and got them, still no jacket though!

Nope. The background update only happened today.

 

It probably bugged out for you, either that or it's a case of Rockstar combating a glitch with a previous backgound update that happened last Thursday.

Not really.

These prompts never showed up for me before. I always had to physicly enter the car to do a testdrive and a buy option did not show up for any of the 3 cars prior to yesterday.

Thats weird. I never saw that on screen option before in all the time since the update got released. And I have been in invite only pretty much exclusivly since then so it cant be a scriptkid messing it up either.

So I guess it was a bug that went on for the better part of 3 weeks.

The Lost contract was pretty decent, sh*tty checkpoint placement for restarting but aside from that it wasn’t as stupidly hard and aimbot ridden as the first 4. My hopes aren’t super high for the UD contract but hopefully I’m wrong. Glad the dropped the Lost one, otherwise I’d have skipped this week altogether since the Vectre was a hard pass. Glad to get it over with though, now it’s all stuff I want left in the drip. Gonna have to make some room though because R* are stingey with the garage space (probably so we’ll have to sell and rebuy cars). E&E better have oodles of extra garage slots..

screw the Phantom Wedge, the Phantom Custom is better. Wedge blows up after only a handful of cars.

Not since it got buffed in the Arena War update, ramming cars with it won't result in it getting damaged... so it's a completely viable option.

 

Still it's completely unarmoured to being attacked, but I play in Invite Only sessions unless selling Nightclub stock.
