Sorry, did I go back in time to 2013?
There is no such thing, unless people mean "hurr durr, no vehicle can do more than 130mph ish without a rocket boost"?

V's map is tiny - you can't expect realistic speeds.

Yeah that was my point when I mentioned that R* focuses on details at the expense of map size.

 

It is fun to drive at speeds of over 200mph, but it doesn't make for good gameplay because it will just show you how SMALL this game map is.

 

This is another reason why I always said that V's game map was always too small and the only way it could be better in this regard was if we also had the Northern part of the state, where San Fierro would be.

He says it takes about 4 hours, but that was specifically for the 18 wheeler Packer truck he was driving with Lamar and Franklin.

 

A Sports car could get there much faster, even after taking the game's lore into consideration.

this - if anyone remember the ultralight speed glitch - you literally flew over the whole map in 10 seconds, and that was like 300-400mph ingame if i remember correctly(maybe even less, it was a few years ago, dont know for sure).

 

the need for new/expanded/whatever map is obvious - there are already buildings used for multiple missions/activities for a few years now which doesn’t make any sense(you deliver the cargo to a building then in another job you steal from there etc.), half(or even more) of the map is useless because there is nothing there + being for 7+ years on a 75km2?(not exactly sure) map where 1/2 of it is useless mountain or forests where is nothing proper to do gets quite boring, i cannot get myself to play the game longer then few hours per month now for few months already, and when i play i just farm the cayo perico, not because i wouldn’t want to play "older" content, but because i’m bored of it due to the low or even nonexisting variability - thanks to small map size(and some other things too, but the map is my biggest concern).

 

enhanced expanded might be interesting for a while(as every update), but if it doesnt offer anything more then graphical+QoL and some other minor stuff, it will get boring again, atleast for me + my friends which i play with( i have around 3300 hours in GTAO, my friends are 1000-3000h in https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/member/szepycz/games/gtav/pc/career/overview/gtaonline )

It's not really a cap but that's really just what we call it. Really has to do with the car's fInitialDragCoeff and fInitialDriveMaxFlatVel settings. Most cars have drag around 10 in this game, drop it to 1 or 2 and up the initialdrivemaxflatvel a bit and higher speeds were achievable without having to use other methods.

 

And once again, nonsense. GTA V's map is probably roughly 30 square miles. Speeding up from the piers to Paleto is about as long as it takes to take the freeway in Forza Horizon 3 from the city to the desert. I'm sure if you went 300-400mph in any game map you'd get from one side to the other quick asf unless it was TDU or The Crew. And once again, that's without traffic. Add traffic and you'll struggle to do more than 150mph in the city, and probably crash before you hit 200mph in the country.

 

I really have no idea where people are getting the idea that GTA V's map is too small for realistic top speeds when there's a load of racing games with smaller maps, but whatever. Obviously we'll never see it in GTA:Online, but for argument's sake, "the map is tiny" and "for immersion" when you're paying millions of hard earned money for a "super" car is a weak excuse.

The best case scenerio for a theme like this would be a mix between Gone in 60 seconds and I/E.

But than again, thats the best case scenerio. And best case scenerios rarely happen with R*s online content.

I feel like anything special is gonna be reserved for the enhanced whatever tf it is. This most likely will be summer special sized indeed. I mean for the second screen they didn't even show another new car. And then Cayo Perico was "big" and we only got what, 5 road cars? Can't help but feel like the days of 20/30+ vehicles (most of them adding value to the game) are over. Best I can hope for in this update is maybe 1-3 cars I'll like and I know I'll like the Celica so we got something.

I would say that the LSSS was a small update. Not even medium. 15 cars...ok, nothing special here, it's the normal amount of a big update, but, not only cars do an update. And not to mention that we got the 15 at once bcz even R* released that if they would drip-feed them, then it really would became noticeable that the content was pretty small. Bcz what we got apart from the cars? 2 new arcade games, 6 yatch missions and some floral t-shirt patterns.

Also, i don't think we will spend money in the car meet area, cuz it seems to be a public space so, no spending there, just like the Music Locker. What we may be spending money in, is a new "car repair shop" where we will deal with this "looking-a-like I/E pt 2".

And since i'm here i will also say stuff that i would like to see in this update, in terms of car customizations:

- new window tint colours;
- the different xenon light colours unlinked from the restriction that they are current in the Arena War workshop (ok, i can understand the paywall for that dlc, but c'mon, it's been 3 years from there now, what was to be milked of that dlc, was already milked) and put them in regular LSC garages;
- decals where we can choose the place to put them (even on windows);
- we could choose the liveries colour;
- a colour wheel palette where we can just pick almost any kind of colour we want from the colour spectrum;
- an option to put the steering wheel on the right side of JDM cars;
- Princess Robot Bubblegum and Rep. Space Rangers franchises bubbleheads (and even one of the super hero Brown Streak - which i believe a lot of people don't even know him. image bellow*);
- different decorative props, in the realm of what we had with that sentinel (that Princess RB pillow);
- NOS (even gta IV tbogt had it, at least in some street race missions);
- an upgrade for those street races mechanics that you can perform via the players menu (and seems like a lot of people don't even know that this feature exists) and i'm talking about, marking on the map certain location to start the race, with girls giving making the countdown and that players can bet some money on those races and to avoid exploitations let's put a limit of like 10k or something like that and the winner takes all the money put on that bet (2nd and 3rd places also get some);
- that the car meet area get a "beauty contest" of the cars;
- new race types, drift and drag and that can bring different kind of customizations on the workshops according on what you're looking for.

Lmao...if you wanna go the guffy route: stay stiff (the Impotent Rage outfit also do have a mini cape that stays stiff). If realistic route: moving a bit, i mean...i'm not asking for a cape mechanics like Arkham Series, but it could move a bit, although to be fair, all clothes in gta stay stiff. But nothing that a E&E version couldn't improve i guess. Also i would like to get a PRB and Wasabi Kitty outfits for female characters.

I think this is a new truck as your old truck made an accident after you said 90 days about Gta trilogy and nothing happen 😂 , so We will see if the new truck will arrive after 72 hours or you will make another accident same as before 🤣

No? Still the same truck. Still working on it, upgrading, repairing, will take a while before it's done mechanically and I can start bodywork. 

 

As far as the Tuners Update announcement and/or trailer, I really feel like it's coming within the next 3 days. 

 

I've been wrong plenty of times before though.

We used to talk about the PRB and SWK outfits, how funny it would look with a male character. I would also like the outfits of Sword boy (you can get his sword as a melee weapon), Uberman, Gordon Moorehead and the superhero outfits of the Kung Fu Rainbow Lazerforce characters

Man, that was pretty awesome wasn't it? Just proof that updates can indeed come very close together. Next week certainly isn't out of the question for GTAO.

the updates after that had a release difference of about 2 weeks maybe rockstar games try it now with 1 week

Just a reminder, this event week lasts until Tuesday, so there's no absolute need for a Newswire to be released on Thursday. Might be beneficial for the newswire team to have a full work week and release it on Friday. Just a futile attempt to save a few of you from shaking like Bumfights crack divers should Thursday not yield the full reveal Newswire and/or Trailer we're awaiting.

Hao, Brucie or maybe his brother Mori from TBOGT? But how awesome would be if Franklin will show up even as "small" role as Tony in After hours, afterall he was involved in racing..
Or maybe just someone complety new?

From those three you mentioned apart from Franklin, i would pick Hao. The rest are quite annoying characters. But one thing that i'm quite in the waiting is to see the name of the dlc. Bcz, no one here have come up with a good name. 😂 Did R* had the same problem? 😝

Other than a bit of pop in, the game can handle like 290km/h 180mph decently. Like this small clip from a race with the broken RE-7B :D Stupid Zentorno in 8th place thought it was a good idea to mess with a car going the speed of plaid. I sent them into a different dimension how hard they hit that truck lul :D During the highest speed challenge I got it up to 328 km/h 204mph on the highway next to the casino.

Its not like your in the reverse deluxo at 535 km/h 333mph where you were going way too fast for the game to handle. Was so fast it even dodged the orbital cannon one time. :D

 

 

There were a handful of cars in gta sa that got over 195 km/h 121mph. Fastest being the Infernus at 222km/h 138mph. 

NRG-500 195 km/h 121mph

Turismo 195km/h 121mph

Bullet 203km/h 126mph

Hotring Racer 216 km/h 134mph

Infernus 222km/h 138mph

NRG-500 with wheelie scrape 244km/h  151mph

 

Oh and it takes longer to drive around the SA map than the V map in cars with close top speeds.

Well luckily they released Newswire posts in the past about the DLC with an event week still running. They never release DLC's when an event week is active, but this doesn't apply to the Newswires itself. Small chance we get a trailer on the release day with "play now" but i doubt it. I think we're getting the trailer along with the newswire post tomorrow with "Play on the 20th".

I just realised current red dead online event ends on July 26th which means tunables for that game update on a Tuesday… more confirmation that gta update is definitely next week

Isn´t the 20 of July already confirmed? At least Fun said so, and the current event week lasts till 19. I bet on the 20.
