iam always Open for new business opportunities but iam aware that most of long term players are sick of that. If only they Open the slaughterhouse to make a realistic steak business :lol:

They've still to introduce a way to unlock the Green Glow Bracelets, despite showing them off in this years 4/20 Event Week newswire.

This is why Expanded & Enhanced MUST have some form of Immunity to Player Dealt Damage lobby option and NOT have it be a barren lobby that prevents you from doing missions & other activites & gameplay you can ordinarily do in Freeroam. Praise for no new business, new heists doable as PvE is what the game needs, if peoples want to play their setups in low fps lobbies with tryhards and broomsticks its ok, but new businesses = locked to pub lobbies, not good. I hope it will be more like DCH and Cayo.

i tried re-creating the newswire picture with my online character, but the shadows are more pixelated bc the light prop i used does cast shadows with a lower resolution.
while R* used a HQ light.

and i had no idea where the exact newswire picture location was, so i just got onto a rooftop

I've always liked how nice and accurate they can take pictures for newswire. They look mega-quality. Especially when we see a character's face close up

I was about to jokingly suggest R* have secretly been using E&E for their newswire screenshots for the last few weeks, because they've been making some nice renders these last few weeks, but then I was reminded of the interest that the Periscope video nighttime variation from the Kosotka Submarine intro cutscene raised when first released.

 

Regardless, on top of Immunity to Player Damage lobbies, R* also need to expand Director Mode... let us place multiple characters, allow them to perform any of the character animations in the files, not just player ones, let us spawn and customise vehicles from not just our Story Mode garages, and place custom light sources in game.

 

Can you tell I play on console?... even though I've owned the PC version of the game on Steam since around 2017 or 18 when it was on sale, and never installed it.

Seems like Rockstar is heading in the right direction... we got cayo perico and the next dlc Will most likely be solo friendly, Even the next rdo update Will be solo friendly, they listened the community on this one, lets hope they deliver more good stuff :)

it´s all the lighting.

you know how in Story mode cutscenes or Online cutscenes even close ups look detailed?
it´s bc of a custom HQ light that they are placing, and they do the same with screenshots, they can place custom ones.
we can´t do that.
i just used a construction light prop.
and dynamic lights in the world at night have lower quality shadows for performence.

you can see that if you for example look at your shadow in a side walk light compared to from the sun during the day.

Imo the ones that they are giving in this event are the coolest ones (not that exaggeration in the colour tint). Like...the colours aren't random, everyone is getting the same pair, right?

They could also let we use our two different online characters in diretor mode. Imagine that i want to create a story about them being a romantic couple? I can't. #saddogo 😂

Eh that would be nice to be able to spawn NPC bodyguards, I could spawn the beast four times and take over fort zancudo.

 

That mode has room for a lot of fun, too bad vehicles are limited.

With the update being vehicle-focused, I hope whatever garages they add have some penthouse-style customization to them. Imagine if we could fill any extra vehicle spaces with decorations like tools, stripped down car chassis, or even small seating areas. And if we could unlock some kind of trophies to decorate our garage(s) based on the robberies we do, it could give what is potentially a smaller bit of content much more longevity.

Well people are tired of the "purchase this, start mission, go there, kill that, grab that item, go back to the bussiness, start next mission, go there, kill that,..." formula, not the bussinesses themself.

 

I have recently gotten back into the nightclub cargo bussiness simply because I'm not required to do anything. I CAN participate in bussiness battles to boost "production" but I can just let a lone technican source cargo from the cargowarehouse/hangar (everything else is shut down) and wait it out.

 

I would love bussinesses like in storymode. Purchase a shop, and it starts to poduce passive income for you that you can collect every day or weekly.

Now and then you get a call that your employees need your help (delivery driver got sick and you need to substitute for him or someone threatens your bussiness ans you need to punch him into the next realm of existance).

 

Each of these bussinesses gives you a nice little perk like a the ability to get a new type of snack that instantly heals you to full health.

Anyways, I knda hope that Monday Dreamin' won't be the only music we will hear in this update. I realy had some hopes for Eurobeat, proper DnB or even City Pop station, would go nicely with whole tuner theme. Hell even a bunch of 2000s songs bundled up together, from various racing games and movies would've been great! Sadly it seems it's a pipe dream, thankfully we wont have to wait very long to see what R* has in store for us

I've said it before, but the best update Rockstar could come up with is one that adds little to no new content, but uses the more recent vehicles, weapons, assets, and mechanics to refresh the old businesses. Since they added crate warehouses, there have been a massive amount of cargo-hauling vehicles added. Since Import/Export there have been a huge of insanely expensive cars added. There have been new military vehicles and weapons since Gunrunners. There have been new planes and helis since Smuggler's Run. Using the assets they already have and tweaking the pay a little, they could create a ton of new missions for these businesses and breathe life into areas of the game that have been obsolete for ages now. But I suppose player count isn't an issue, so they'd rather just slap content on top of itself and ignore 90% of the game.

it’s what online is, sadly, like a big ass burger that just keeps getting bigger and filled with tasty stuff while what is at the base of it as almost rotten. there’s a small hope that e&e will revamp the player experience in this regard, but it’s unlikely

A random thought (harking back to GTA:SA and Bully). Probably won't happen, but the topic of the upcoming DLC is as close to the 'street' as is possible to warrant inclusion! 

 

Upon starting / joining a car club, our 'toons are given access to 'advertising tag' locations and a spray can. The more locations we tag in a single day, (~48 minutes IRL) the more popular our club becomes with NPCs, unlocking cash/RP/parts/decals for the club, etc. Say twenty randomised locations (out of a list of forty or so) all over the State. 

 

After each day the city cleans the tag locations (graffiti is bad, m'kay) and we start over. Obviously if another car club has already tagged a location, you can overpaint it. And maybe you get a wanted level and/or aggravate nearby gang members if you're seen tagging close to their territory. 

 

Whether we would be painting a premade club logo (ala Nightclubs with a few select names) or our own logo (ala self-made Crew-esq) would be something to ponder. And also whether there would be a 10-15 second minigame to complete the tag (as in Bully) or whether it would just be completed without any additional steps once you step into a corona and trigger it (like GTA:SA or Nightclub posters). 

 

And/Or we could advertise our club by following specific routes in our Dekotora trucks! (yeah, I snuck that in there) 

 

Just something else to clutter up Freemode and encourage competition between players, I guess. Spitballing.

I started collecting cars to show them off when the DLC drops, making money also but I'm not the guy that buys everything only because it is new, so I think 20 mio should be enough.

 I guess I am in the minority here in that I want to see new businesses. I think that, regardless of some of the repetitiveness in the formula of the businesses now, they are overall a great feature, and I would like to see it more developed than it already is. I do agree with you that they should come up with something original, and not just some generic "deliver vehicle-loaded goods with some resistance" that you get with nightclub, Bunker, and crate warehouse sales. I think they also made a tactical mistake in a way with some of the businesses. For example, the Air Freight Cargo missions are really fun, and so is the I/E Warehouse, both sourcing and selling. The problem with these two, and other businesses, is that the money grinders like me have long since abandoned them once we had accumulated a lot of money. Because even though they are more unique than the other source/resupply/sell business missions, they are by far much less profitable. So what happens with me is that my brain thinks money, money, money by habit, even if I don't really need any more in the game. So I have to force myself to play the more fun, albeit much less profitable businesses. Because the grinder-brain part of me can't help seeing them as a waste of time, since they don't have the same huge payouts of a full bunker/nightclub/Casino-Finale/Cayo-Finale. The disparity is so pronounced, that even sourcing/selling cars for my IE Warehouse when it was 200% Cash a couple of weeks ago felt like it was too unprofitable. And this is when I don't even need money. [email protected]

 

But since I know I am not alone in this weird, deranged thinking, it would behoove Rockstar to make any new businesses BOTH uniquely fun and highly profitable! This dovetails into my point below in that I think in the coming months we are going to see a huge and necessary surge in inflation in the in-game economy.

Not even a little. It may, in fact, be a very necessary step to try and restore some semblance of the in game economy, which I believe Rockstar broke with the release of the Cayo Perico Update. I hate to say it, but I think that either in this coming update. or when E&E launches, prices are going to go up at least moderately, maybe a lot. It is just so absurdly easy to make money in this game now, between AFK/Solo with full bunker and night club sales every day plus fast, easy Cayo heists. I don't see how Rockstar/Take2 can leave the in-game economy the way it is and still keep doling out those huge Shark Card sales in the next couple of years preceding whenever GTA VI launches.
