Or maybe throwable items? Maybe bottles with oil? Basically molotovs but with different effect. And knowing R* they gonna add some goofy sound effects like the ones from Power Play

For a new player sure - but for an established player it's 'more acceptable'. I was basically mind blown by the DC&R cutscene when that DLC update first hit, I guess I'd be in the minority thinking that was a good production. Anyway...

I've said this for a while - Rockstar may have been removing the rank requirements for things like vehicles or weapons (Mk.2 workshop bypasses rank req.) and perhaps others but they have never considered adding rank requirements before you get phone calls (or texts) about purchasing a Bunker, Arena War Workshop and all the others... Rank isn't everything but it does somewhat relate to experience of the game. 

It makes perfect sense that a Rank 5 player should be getting into the madness of Alan Jerome's productions with multi-million dollar vehicles and workshop or that without even having the first level of health upgrade, they should be purchasing a Facility and saving the world via Doomsday Heists...

Haha, if it's anything my friend always moans about with the old skool GTA games, they've had enough drugs in the past! They do go hand-in-hand though.

We need more classic rock, and 80's synth pop + british invasion, not these random music found on soundcloud and remixed by an obscure DJ. This is the reason why i never touch my radio dial on that horrendous music locker radio (kult fm is pretty bangin' ngl).

 

 

If the gta 3 anniversary comes, i really want flashback fm (or at least one of the tracks) to return. Gotta love that Scarface tunes.

I always said gta 5 has the worst music of any gta. The only station I really listen to is that frank ocean station. Theres a station i never even listened too, the new one but it wont let me listen unless I destroy the anntennas

So, are we going to get a new radio station or those tracks will be included in the muskc locker radio station and with the presentation of that new DJ on the Music Locker nightclub?

Or, instead of flashback fm, they will give you, Rise FM, and even more eletronic music!

While i was searching on youtube the rise fm, i noticed a video of some guy that made a compilation of songs that could get into a "Rise FM 2.0", and damn, this was the sh*t, you know? The 90's - 2000's Trance genre.

They could add Lot of songs from GTA III they have the license but seems circoloco is taking over....for me would be Nice a "Rockstar Classics" radio station wich included all Rockstar owned songs and maybe some talk shows too as chatterbox, but then more piping dreams

Ufff...it's a no for me. I barely touched this radio station in GTA 3, it makes my head hurt. Too much quick pace...what genre is this?

Its a DnB (drum and bass). pretty hip at the time but not to everyones tastes.

That's great. Some more tracks from artists I don't know that screams After Hours to me. Another teaser, no date or screens. And more hype-building. If the updates good, it's good. If it isn't, it isn't. I guess we'll see. But after last year, I'm warning some of you, do not get hyped at all. Especially for cars.

I see...we have the slipping fm that is DnB too then. But i don't find anything special. I was expecting to be more in this type, but it wasn't. This type, here, some i like (it seems they have some sub-genres, thus that's why i like some and other don't):

That type reminds me of Hospital Records (in the Forza Horizon games). Would've much preferred that to whatever that Slippin sh*t was

Instead of that "crazy circle" records thing, this Rockstar Classics idea would be a nice addition to celebrate the gta 3 anniversary. Think about it, rather than putting weird remixes of some random soundcloud tunes, at least R* can relieve their good old days when they were a small game developer without big budget to license big name artists by adding fictional songs that they create for gta 1, gta 2 and anything from lips 106 + head radio.

Well, that's what is funny about Music (quite one of the most interestings and best inventions by humankind), bcz you have different genres and then you have sub-genres. So you can like Metal for example, but you are more into death metal or into progressive metal. Same with the the Eletronic music, that became a "plague" in GTA Online in recent times. That's why you look at LS-UR and The Musik Locker Radio and you have "this one i like, this is meh, this definitely no and this i kinda can hear". Maybe the problem (if it's a problem at all, depends the perspective) is that R* prefers do give one of an "elitist hipster attitude" and go after the music that's not mainstream, not only bcz (and this is my point of view) R* don't need to pay as much for songs to being introduced in the game if they are not mainstream (which surprises me how they were able to buy every license for GTA VC radios, all that 80's famous musics, and even worse two Michael Jackson songs) and also bcz if they are going into the music industry and they want to make a name out of it, if they patronize unknown artists, songs and genres/sub-genres, i think it's a win-win for them).

And speaking of which, take the example of the eletronic music in gta history. People tend to like the 90's - 2000's period, probably bcz generally people like more a soft trance, eurobeat, etc., rather this less known genres of nowadays eletronic music. If you didn't saw my previous post, here i show again. I believe the majority of people would prefer this type of eletronic music rather 90% the ones we currently have in the game:

About possible new tracks or radio stations added, i'm not that hyped, with CP i expected synthwave tracks which i the only electronic music i kinda like, those radio stations and tracks were mostly miss for me apart some several 80s kinda track on casino radio and that one song with Planet Asia and Apollo Brown. If they add something new i doubt it's gonna be synthwave but hopefully something that could go well with street race themes and tuning. Adding some of tracks from F&F or NFS series would be enough, but i doubt it's gonna happen, those songs are either too expensive or tied to other franchises so R* wouldn't use them either way.

Tbh, maybe someday we will see a couple of synthwave songs, but i think that a full fleshed radio station only will come in GTA VI, if is in Vice City to create that nostalgic atmosphere of 80's synth songs. Just bcz they need to have some exclusive things for a new gta in order to attract people.
