I suppose what could be done is put those contacts into groups, kinda like you can put contacts into Labels in Google Contacts (no experience with Apple stuff, sorry). We could have Mission Contacts, Vehicle-related, Military (Merryweather and stuff) etc.

Or the ability to pin some contacts at the top of the list

They already experimented with this with the Pegasus system so they might as well put this to good use. They are put into groups such as boats, planes, cars, etc. It used to be an unorganiszed mess.

in my opinion, i think that the update for red dead online will come between june and mid-july and the update for gta online between the end of july and the beginning of august. what do you think?

It could be related to RDR2 or a new game (let a man dream) or a trailer but I can't recall them deviating without a reason.

Have they ever done 2 event weeks before WITHOUT announcing anything in this 2 week period?

I know they recently did a 1 month long motor wars event but that's different.

I really dont think we're getting anything GTAO related content today. We will most likely see a RDO Newswire about the newest RDO update since that's releasing first. There however could be a small mention about the upcomming DLC under the post itself such as: "Also stay tuned for more info on the upcomming DLC in GTA:Online where.........etc." But hey, this is Rockstar we're talking about, anything could happen. I can still remember all those groups we used to make in here years ago called "Team May 25th", "Team October 3rd". Good times indeed.

After Arena War we had a 2 week event during the holiday season.

I remember there was double client jobs, bunker and hangar. And we had snow ofcourse.

Because Rockstar's main PR is based in New York and Juneteenth was declared a federal holiday falling on a Saturday (last moment though), I wonder if NYC are going to honour that and not tell anyone to work, which would definitely impact a possible announcement of any kind today, hmm. Usually you're given the day off before/after the holiday if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday respectively IIRC.

 

It would most definitely be last moment though even if they had something planned, to no fault of theirs. It's up to the corporation if they want to honour that. They could've planned it, including delaying the GTAO bonuses, but then the bill came up.

Well i do believe some newswire posts are made in advance and posted automaticly via a scheduled system. They very well could've made the newswire post yesterday or today and set the schedule at the desirable time+date.

Not every one is though, and they might decide to delay any announcements anyway. Companies usually have whole PR teams for these things, scheduling a tweet or post or press release at a company is not quite the same as a small company or a fansite like us doing that.  Plus even if it's ready, if they wanna honour the holiday they can move the schedule.

 

Just speculating of course.

I would guess the GTAO DLC is coming a bit later in July and RDO in early July or perhaps towards the end of June. There's also all that time for console patch submissions and what not, I doubt we're getting the GTAO DLC as soon as 8th July. News for sure though.

If that's the case what's your prediction for this week? 

We are definitely getting something if we factor the 2 week event.

From a complete speculation position, I think something has shifted. It's definitely not "the norm" for the Friday content (snaps and sometimes crew highlights) to have been posted on a Thursday, and for the GTA Online bonus week to last two weeks. If R* are doing the Juneteenth holidays thing, something may have moved - to when, I dunno, maybe Monday.

 

Conversely, they have posted DLC news quite late before, so there is still time. Case in point. But I think that's because it was announced when RDO still had bonuses on Thursdays and they didn't want the DCH DLC announcement to get in the way.

 

EDIT: Looks like there was an RDO update coming the following day, so I'm guessing they posted the DCH announcement later on Thursday instead so Friday would be dedicated to RDO. Might not be a valid sample then.  

EDIT 2: I read that tweet wrong, what they meant is that Moonshiners would release the day after DCH, which it did, so ok nvm might still be a valid sample, sorry.

We ain't getting sh*t, they put same event for 2 weeks because they can, i had small hope yesterday and today up until usual time to post article, that being around 5pm in my timezone. We may get some news next thursday but i expect long info and content drought till early or late july. 

Oh and before someone mentions how well there are still those two mini updates, it's same recycled sh*t for me, they are ok for cash and rp grind when they are on bonus, but after their bonus ends no one play them anymore.
