I mostly played NFS Underground 2 and Most Wanted, and MC 2 and 3 at the time. That race type where you have to get to collect all checkpoints first in any given order I think would be fun, along with like the NFS series much more customisability to our vehicles. Maybe there could be modifiers for drag, downforce, etc. and have those vehicles marked as special so they wouldn't be able to used in other races, etc. Lots to think of for a DLC like this.

I basicly grew up with NFS Underground and Most Wanted too. The dragraces were pretty fun (sometimes infair) but i would love to see some similar mechanics to the dragraces. You can't have a tuner DLC without dragraces, right?

Though didi R* actually adress it? I know I'm being overly worried, but once that happened to me I just don't trust that 2x on I/E. If they actually DID fix it it wouldve been nice if they had made a newswire post in the likes of "Our anti-cheat screwed up, sorry" or something. I know it'd be too difficult for them to reimburse the removed money (anyone could lie, after all) but at least some acknowledgement would've been nice unless there is one I might've overlooked.

Does anyone else worry that the “precisely modified getaway vehicles” mentioned in the newswire will just be pre-modified like the Comet Safari and Yosemite Drift? The more I think about that wording, the more I fear we’ll end up with several more Comet Classic and ZR380 situations, where we finally get cars we’ve requested for years...except they’re covered in spikes, blinking neon lights, a hideous widebody kit and plenty of other junk that can’t be removed.

The horrors of realizing that you had bad taste in car mods during your childhood, all that escalades and navigators ruined with that spinners and neons, ugh!

 

@Giantsgiants would be proud seeing my abominations, but it was a long time. My old PC is pretty much in the dumpster now, just like how i dump my bad taste since i hit puberty. But now all my car collections is pretty bland, no major visual mods apart for 1-3 vehicles out of hundreds that i have, i don't even put performance mods (EMS,trans,brakes) on all my vehicles, i kept it all in factory fresh condition.

I always liked Crown Vics, and I can still remember stealing a Washington, spraying it matte black and giving it purple off-road wheels when I first got GTA. And to think I had the audacity to make fun of those chrome Adders with dollar rims.

I think it will be a little of column A and a little of column B, like the Arena War update...The inconsistency just makes everything more infuriating.

Yea it's just for fun tbh, maybe some of it would make the cut, yes kapitan? In the next DLC or the next yes? Just like the nautical DLC, we got it through the Cayo Perico Heist yes? 

 

I was thinking like they would add some vehicles and let us choose the modifications, you know like Arena War or Lowriders, buy stock and then upgrade it, if not, then we all fuxked kapitan, yes?

I'm hoping for it to be a car that's already in the game, so we don't have this issue (although I guess that wouldn't be as interesting as an entirely new car), maybe something like those Dodge Chargers used to pull that huge vault in F&F 5.

With all this NFS talk, you know one of the great features for cosmetic stuff, was AUTOSCULPT, for the ones that don't know this feature let you customize visual modifications geometry, so you have something like the hood mods: then the 1st option is scoop, so in the 0 value it would have no scoop, 25% a little wedge, 50% an actual scoop, and in 100% a "bug catcher". Too bad that something like this would make saving our cars take too much data, probably the reason why we have limited garage space.
