Just a bunch of cars with parts we already have and a couple of buildings and garages to host meets.

I know it might possibly break the game physics and turn even the most boring family sedan you off the street into a goddamn rocket to the moon, but goddamit do I want this option to fix a sh*t of cars with very questionable wheel fitment and odd stances that needs corrections.

If the changes are purely visual, then it wouldn't be a problem. Like how the F1 wheels are further to the outside than normal wheels, but the hit box doesn't move.

Those are fog lights and indicators that don't work in the game. Well, the rear indicators work on the Torero but can't be controlled.

Well, some new things will come, i don't think that everything people are requesting here will happen, but we know for a fact that some new things will be added, at least seems like so, just look at that weird light in the rear wheel of the celica picture in the newswire...idk what's that, but is something that we don't have currently.

Since the next update is car-themed, I would think a good QOL change would be to add a speedometer as shown in this Project Homecoming screenshot (bottom left of the minimap)

That way, we can see our real  top speed without having to go in first person, which is useful as not only can you not see the gauges in some vehicles, but on top of that, the in-vehicle speedometers aren't really consistent across all vehicles, as shown in this video by my boy Broughy1322.

I also would like that the pc players would have a system like the in the consolo controllers where you can control the speed of the car, this to say, driving at a normal speed. It also would be cool that at a certain speed if you're not driving like a lunatic, you could use the changing lights like npc's use and probably this is asking for too much but maybe that you could also see your character change gears, although seems like that would only be something of a gta 6, if would happen at all...we see that R* started not caring so much in terms of interior cusstomization...bcz they did almost "closed bennys" they started to get liveries and other options to the car in LSC that only would be possible in Benny's before, but they didn't applied the same detail of customization of Benny's, like seats, gear, dashboard, etc., maybe they saw that a lot of people didn't cared about that that much so they saw a good opportunity to have less work in that department.

Dude, you didn't quote the most important part...i said, in response, that we probably are going to see some changes in the customization department, since there's that strange "wheel light" in that celica in the screenshot, rear right wheel. Idk what's that, only know that we don't have that currently in the game.

If you're talking about the inner barrel, I think that's just light off the neons. I'll read the newswire post again, but I never thought "radical customization options" like engine swaps and wheel alignment mods were coming

We don't know none info about which new customizations will come. I just pointed that we must see some bcz that thing in the wheel is strange, i don't think that the neon lights do that to the wheels. It's clear while seeing that is, at least, looks like, that the wheel have a light of it's own.

It's literally the neon light shining on the wheel. Of all things, why would they add something like lights on the inside of the wheel?

Is it? I honestly really don't think so...as far i remember the neon lights don't have that effect on the wheels.
I also would not put that...but, there's a lot of tuners that are quite goofy and exuberant, i wouldn't be surprised if we got some customization options like that.

According to PC mods like VStancer, changes that affects the wheelbase and ride height, by changing the cars collision, will directly affects how the car take corners.

 

Which is why neon lights can actually make your cars take corners a little bit easier.

 

I know that there's a few specific lines of code on the handling.meta of each vehicle that shifts the car's gravity center on a X axis on the front or the back of the car, shifting the gravity center all the way to the back makes the rear squat down, like it is on the Asbo, Washington and Schafter(all variants)..If players puts the maximum value that is possible on the back, combined with lower ride heights, the car's suspension will clip with the car itself resulting it in bouncing up and down, and getting to ludicrous top speeds...Like back when the RE-7B and the Visiris could reach speeds exceeding 180mph.

 

So unfortunately I don't think it would be possible for R* to make those changes be just visual changes.

i remember back in the ps3 days you could enable it on a car for story mode using the save editor and then transfer that car to online using the sp2mp glitch, i had a Nos Sultan hahaha fun times, im surprised they havent added that to the game yet.

Indicators aren't included in pop-up lights because theoretically they are needed all the time, and fog lights are used to illuminate the ground so they are usually located closer to the ground. On my Torero I have them covered up though because they have no function in GTA. If you're on PC it's fairly easy to color the Torero interior.

I was just speaking in general terms, because the visual object and it's relation to game physics are usually two different things. I don't know how GTA's engine works, so maybe every visual change automatically results in a physical change. But for the F1 wheels at least, if you put them on an ordinary car, the wheels' hit boxes do not change. For example you can shoot the outer part of the tire and it will not pop.

With red flames shooting out of the exhaust? Because that's exactly how the arena war boost function works. Maybe get yourself an Imperator and try it out. That car can be kept clean apart from the nitros.

Ngl...if an Oppressor MK III was to come, i would like that it would be something totally different. And since the game is already full of meme vehicle and realism was left behind long ago, i would like something like this:

And this would be called the "Oppressor Program". xD A Lester's and Securoserv cooperation. And they would give us different variations of it and we could store the different outfits in our mansion's secret basement in a showcase, like this one, below. Imagine the amount of shark cards they would sell, 3-4 millions each suit! 😛

If this was actually serious then holy f*cking batman on a mobility scooter, buying vehicles (and showing them off to your gta mates -> read: active car community) is the main reason most of us still play, there's many racing crews across all platforms too, and the game is very much not 'more or less dead'

No offense but people should really stop with the whole "im not having fun so nobody is" projection of feelings/emotions, im sure you are an amazing person and everybody would love to be you, but you are not so amazing that everybody thinks the same way as you do, if nobody was having fun and everybody was fed up with the kids, then nobody would be playing this game, yet here we are after 7+ years(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) its still making enough profits for free large scale DLC's and still usually in top5 most played games of whatever platform you fancy

 

Calling it "more or less dead" is just crazy, at the time of writing this post there were almost 100.000 players in the game just on the steam version, not including the rockstar launcher version, epic game store version or console versions, if we threw all those numbers together there would easily be half a million people playing it right now, if not more, and i would bet that during the weekend (when combining all platforms/launchers) there would easily be over a million people playing the game during peak time. "more or less dead" games are happy if they reach a 1000 unique players over the course of the entire weekend.

 

Speaking only about Xbox One (since my impression is that most of the playerbase is on PS4). It's dead apart from free roam, let's say it that way. I find no or hardly players to do the old heists, no players to do races, casino missions, yacht missions. For me the game feels dead. I had my fun though, it was just not the multiplayer experience I had expected. We'll see it when the car meeting place is released, how many players actually will go there.

For the love of GOD please no Iron Man Armor of anything of the sort, while "the Oppressor ruined vehicle combat" an armor like this sure WILL ruin on foot combat.
