Who's to say Oneils or their remnants didn't renovate a house so it can remain base of the operation for them or another gang... You can suspend disbelief on some cases just enough to keep it within the bounds of the canon. Online progressed to the present, Michael is retired (send his pothead son to work in arcade), Trevor went ''Winewood'' according to Ron and Frenklin is who knows where, he even might be future contact for online characters if R* decides to bring voice actor back for smaller online role (same with other two characters).

Now that you say that...we are getting a car culture dlc right? Tuners. How the best of the 3 SP characters for that than Franklin? Eve bcz he did street races in SP. And also we will have "robbery missions" that can also imply Michael. I remember someone telling that in one live they made in some social media, they implied that they were being called for something.

But in the caracter customiation, as far i remember, it's your "parents" not your ancestors. I still believe it's just an easter egg nothing more than that.

So the stunt races we're getting this week are just regular stunt races with no new props right? so we won't need to download anything for them then.

There's only one update coming in the summer and that's about it right? is this correct?

Corrrect i guess. I think they can do that via background updates. But if new content like cars are to come, that would be a very big surprise, but i don't think it's the case.

Yea, it would be nice if we could get a final send off to main characters and also to last gen with summer update. Either as one more gathering to pull some final score with online characters or one of them as contact and like you mentioned, Frenklin would be good fit for that, same as Michael if he is a contact for robberies that are tied to summer update, but he would be more fitting for a heist update and i doubt next one would be anything more than a form of missions similar to casino dlc.

I was just making sure, they can just introduce new races whenever they want, unless they include some new props then we'll have to download something.

So it's just a regular background script, interesting to see the new arenas for Deadline coming after that, that mode hasn't seen new playgrounds since it was released.

All i can say about dlc's post-E&E get me very intrigued. What they can deliver now with a new engine, or mechanics or whatever it is...now that they can be not so much restrictive in the new console? Mansions? Map expansion as free mode map? Idk, only time will tell.

You can choose your parents and your ancestors (grandparents) but you know what I mean. Easter egg or not, if our characters are the child of a 3D era chara Or a RDR character, that character would have to exist in the HD universe, correct? But this is getting besides the point anyway

Technically yes, but, if it's an easter egg it dont need to have great sense. Also, bcz if could make sense to trace our ancestry to marston, wouldn't make sense to be claude ascentry, too young. But i guess we can leave the case, we are spamming the forum.

GTA Online from launch day to the Gunrunning update is supposed to take place 6 months before GTA V. GTA Online since the Gunrunning update takes place in the present day (2017- present)

The factory is there bcz at that point gta online was still 6 months prior GTA SP events.

During the entire GTAO timeline, six months prior to GTAV and from 2017 to 2021. Lester's Garment Factory, remained undamaged.

Yes but those are the things of having plot hole, being them on purpose or not. Maybe R* forgot about it, or they thought that better have preserved buildings to use them in future updates and thinking that players wouldn't noticed that or even in the possibility that if they wanted to change it, it would be too much trouble and/or software limitations, idk how hard it was making the "trick" of having the new casino and if going to SP it's still there, the old one, closed. And they didn't wanted to go for the trouble of it. And tbh...that's something that a lot of players don't even get attention to that, i barely remembered the plot hole of the factory or oneil's farm post SP event in Online story. In fact we basically don't know where GTA Online made the time leap from before SP to after SP. We only got the certainty that we are in nowadays bcz they started to mention the nowadays as we play gta online after gun running dlc that came out in 2017 and Agent 14 tells something about 2017 and also Agatha telling a joke about that the casino at least was opened after 5 years.

Martin's appearance: Frank recalls all the police, DA, and jury murders you do for Martin.

 

I think even Trevor or Ron references the online character at some point too or at least stealing gas tankers and messing with The Lost which is all stuff you're hired to do for them.

When reading this thread just assume nobody here knows anything that isn't official information. Or put differently if you read something that isn't official information, there's a 99.9% chance it's made-up.

While I'm quite excited at the prospect of a new car/racing based update, I just hope it has a large vehicle roster without a bunch of filler (After Hours, CPH). Being the final update prior to E&E I can see them adding a bunch of odds and ends like the Celica and more obscure JDM, I would hope they could give CG a good send off with a few truly long requested rides like your Comet Classics and ZR350s, Uranuses and Dominator Mark 1, Vigero Classic and modern. We'll see, they used some verbiage that indicates there will be some long time holdouts... hopefully they give current gen a worthwhile send off.

I think in the sports JDM department the ones i wanted most are the zr-350, zr-380, the nsx and the mitsubishi 3000 gt. In the super class i think the one i want the most in the turismo from IV.
But tbh, i think they will give 50% of the "most wanted vehicles requested", since i think they will need to give us a lot of requested vehicles to convince people to buy the E&E for next gen consoles asap. But i'm even more curious about the new bussinesses and properties they will give us next gen. I really would like to get a restaurant as a front. Idk, since GTA VC i like that vibe, would be cool to set your restaurant with a theme that you want, like a italian restaurant, sushi restaurant, etc., where you would see npc's eating there and you could do missions of scouters to go make deliveries but of course it would be cool that finally you would have a place where you could sit in the balcony and in some table to have dinners with your friends and play some card game.

A Modern Vigero would most likely be based on either the 5th or 6th gen Camaro (maybe a mix of both?). I think Classic Vigero might have been a mistake, unless they meant a custom version of the original Vigero to make it into a resto-mod or racing variant at Benny's, which would be nice to see.
