Before this topic gets mad with the tweet - remember Rockstar Games comes from the music industry as Sam and Dan worked at BMG, and they've always been involved with big names since GTA III, from the radio stations and beyond. This is just another step, and nothing new for the NYC part of the company. Could even be better news for future game music as they would have their own licencing.

Since I was summoned anyways I don't see much speculation about the GTA III gift for GTAO. Any guesses what that could be? Outside of boring stuff like tshirts with some brands from III (that being said I'd love to get Punk Noodles) my guess is return of this bad boy:

 

 If by any chance it would happen I wonder if they will do it on the stock Stallion or will they make new, thinner model similar to the HD GTA's.

 

One other possibility I see and I'd love R* do it properly - MSX FM. It legit can be a GTA III + LCS mix for all I care, I need DnB with my tuner DLC (outside of Eurobeat radio, which would've been amazing as well), especially after they hyped up SSLS that it will be DnB/Jugle, when in fact there is like three songs I'd put as maybe DnB if you squint your ears enough...

Other possibilities I can see:

• Few Missions that are reminiscent of GTA III
• Flamethrower
  
• Yardie Lobo
  
• Yakuza Stinger
  

Kinda don't know what else (again, outside of clothing which I feel like would be a lil too boring and too obvious).

Maybe if all you care about is dance music. They did add some more eclectic stuff with LSSS, but even then they added mostly dance and trap. When it comes to GTA mainstream genres and classic songs are essential and I hope they don’t stray too far away from that.

Flame thrower and stunt gun  appear in gta o as arena vehicle weapon, if u can't wait for the frearm 1.....u may buy the cars

The flame thrower can be found on Cerberus.

Stunt weapon is on  Future Shock Sasquatch as ram weapon "shocker"

I think an old Defender would be cool to see, but I doubt it will come in this DLC because it doesn't really fit the theme of it. To be honest, I was half expecting one to be included in the Cayo Perico Heist last December since we saw the old Jeep and the Humvee get shown in the trailer. If we ever get a military or naval themed DLC we will most likely see an old Land Rover/Range Rover styled vehicle included in that.

I would like to see Rockstar give a bump into the cop cars, add something new. The VSTR, Buffalo S, Caracara as cop cars would be cool. Even the OG Coquette would be nice.

 

Or give us the option to customize some cars as cop cars, with liveries and sirens.

 

I didn't play GTA4, but I know that there was a crazy blue cop car with an USA flag on it. They could add this one.

it would make sense that they would actually be able to keep up with us now. The rubberbanding on the Ford Taurus cop cars catching up to sh*t like the ventorno or Nero always looked stupid.

Iam liking this speculation about GTA III surprises coming to GTA online...i like all the ideas above, we definetly could receive Cars like mafia sentinel, yakuza stinger, borgnine, stallion, Banshee, definetly a proper Claude Speed outfit, flamethrower is a must in My opinion.

This is wishfull thinking: they could add public telephone missions and kill frenzy Style missions and for example if You complete those You unlock more stuff.

Imagine Also random encounters with GTA III protagonists like... "Hi iam Misty", and You need deliver her to some place, iam already hyped, i hope Rockstar deliver...it's 20 years anniversary such a date needs much love.

 

I forgot, they can add side missions such as : vigilante, paramedic and firefighter.

Side mission: Off Road mission (and they can introduce the patriot classic 

And... RC Toyz Missions starting from a van.

 

I know this is far fetched but is not that much if You think about it

I would say that i see them introducing at least some clothing items about GTA 3 and Liberty City as well some gta 3 outfits. To that list you could had for example that after 20 years we know what really happened in the end credits of that game. What was that shot about and what happened to donald love. I have a crazy teory about it, in the cutscene where donald love disappear, we see a box opened, maybe that was the Pandora Box and something bad happened to Donaldo Love bcz he opened it.

Careful with the idea of some kind of "hi, i'm Misty" - deliver her to some place, or we will end up talking about a prostitution dlc, which a lot of peopel here don't like the idea.

Just a random encounter can be other character,  Misty came to mind because is one of the first missions, iam not talking about nothing else.

 

The Borgnine cab is unlocked after You finish 100 taxi fares

All that talk about possible GTA3 content in GTAO, in reality it will be some t-shirt with Claude's face or GTA3 cover graphic at  best. Of course it would be nice to get some significant content like cars or weapons (classic M16 or AK), but yea, slim chance for that...

The map? Hardly so...that would break the universes of 3D and HD era. For all that matters Liberty City for GTA Online would be the Liberty City of GTA IV.

Claude and misty exist in the HD universe, as does John marston. They threw the universes out the window as soon as gta online came out. And I’m not talking about gta iv’s liberty city, I’m talking about the ACTUAL gta 3 map.

I believe that RDR 1 and 2 there's not a separation from 3D to HD, even bcz the history btw 1 and 2 are linked. Not the same with gta universe from 3D and HD. Not to mention that i believe you're talking about the character making that have possible parents claude and john. But that's just some easter eggs. Does it would even make sense? How john could be the parent of our online characters if john died in early 1900's?

lmao, dude, why you say gta online is not canon? It's canon as it gets, even bcz it's way linked in some extent to the SP. What you can say about gta online are some plot holes about history or even places like, for instances, the oneil farm should be destroyed, but this all got messed up bcz gta online toke place before SP events and now its way after it, more exactly in current days and some details are just normal to be forgotten by R* or they don't mind them to make dlc content easy to implement, like why have the oneil farm destroyed when it can be used as an interior for some missions and adv modes (every bullet count)?
