Next DLC Speculation Topic Mk XI

Tbh I wasn’t expecting anything until E&E cam out, and even then I didn’t expect E&E to be out this year. I expected nothing so I was surprised to see we’re getting 2 updates this year along with the new editions. Seeing some of the speculations on here concerning the car centric update, I’d say it’s probably wise for people to curb their expectations. Nothing wrong with being hopeful but after 8 years, expecting something game changing or ground breaking is setting yourself for disappointment. I’m more interested in what they have planned this summer, and what they have in store with the expanded and enhanced versions. I’d also say it’s safe to bet we won’t see gta 6 ANYTIME soon.

Btw...you guys know what is goofy and they should fix? This:




Since the Casino Heist update teasers in the way of props, they didn't fix that. Which also made us know that when they use cutscenes and some furniture is on the way they just put it invisible, but they are still there, and this is proof of that.

Aren't they doing chair dips in the second screenshot?

 

They're only using the couch as support. It's not invisible, it's their choice not to sit on it.

They're only using the couch as support. It's not invisible, it's their choice not to sit on it.

You guys are being blind! The thing is levitating! In fact is on the table, which the table don't appear in the cutscene like in the position that it is in free mode, ok. This wasn't a problem before, bcz there wasn't this prop, but after they put it there to tease the Diamond Casino DLC, they should also have hidden it or at least being moved with the table for the new location for the cutscene like we see (the table) in the first picture.

This is weird, I’ve experienced the same thing where sometimes I get the full cut for some reason and others where Patel and the fence fee is a couple hundred grand.

 

same with elite challenge, I could swear for a time that I was completing elite on regular not hard, and did so while blowing my cover/being discovered..

The thing with the cuts on cayo perico heist is that the elite challenge is only 50k in normal mode and 100k on hard, but that bonus goes directly to your bank account (the casino heist is the same...so probably every heist is). The thing here is that seems that we found that there is a limit for what you can get, 2.3M, althought, you can make 2.4 if you got the panther and 2 stacks of coke, so...tecnically should be possible, bcz you aren't getting more than you can put in the bag. But...there's no big deal...i'm no troubled by that.

What seems to be happening is that in the first screenshot the game shows the normal value for the panther statue, which is $1,900,000.

 

So $1,900,000 plus your actual secondary loot of $511,321 = $2,411,321

But in the final screen the money is calculated correctly at the hard value of $2,090,000, plus your secondary loot, minus the 10% fencing fee and 2% cut for Pavel.

Except you somehow lost $3 to rounding.

Can they fix this? Bcz sounds like it was more a thing of not remember the prop, although...didn't they saw the cutscenes when they were developing the dlc?

it depends on how it´s placed.

it could be that a edit to the .cut file would fix it, or the script that places it forces it to spawn, so a .cut edit wouldn´t work.

in that case they would need to edit the script.

but for a dev it shouldn´t be that hard to do.

it´s just not a very high priority then

I feel like R* will take ideas from this scene in Fast and Furious 4 for 1 of the new robbery missions.

 

 

The newswire did say that we have to modify our vehicles in a specific way to do them, we could take the Slamvan along with the Rancher and turn them into this.

Thought about the same thing. I was thinking we may get a vehicle like one of those two truck/pick-up combo things. The Yosemite is another vehicle they could use to become like those.

Completely forgot about the Bobcat, that truck definitely needs some love. Hopefully they add these cars from the movies as well.

Most people were explicitly asking for the Eleanor from the Gone in 60 Seconds remake. Which is what R* added. Yes, a lot of people said “classic mustang” in the abstract, but the most common specific model was the 67 Shelby Eleanor.

Same thing happened with the Jester Classic. People spent 2 and a half years begging not for a Supra but specifically for the San Andreas Jester. So R*, in their infinite wisdom, decided to make an HD version of the SanAn Jester rather than imagine a new interpretation of the JZA80. 
 

Don’t get your hopes up for another crack at a classic Mustang. The Rapid GT Classic is 40% 69 Mustang, and the Ellie is a 67 Shelby. The Drift Tampa also is based on a modified 65. The most realistic hope for another Mustang would be bringing back the Uranus, but even that is just as much a Ford Sierra as it is a Foxbody Mustang.

Good on Rockstar Games, doing another Big Summer Update like last year. it was great to have a selection of new vehicles that wasn't Heist or mission related.

Whilst we're on the topic of muscle cars, I really hope we see more modern muscles added to the game, new Vigeros, a Buffalo Hellfire, or maybe even some new Chevals like a new Picador or Fugitive. I like classic muscle cars as much as the next guy, but out of the 60 or so cars in the Muscle class, there's only 4 of them (excluding the racecar variants) that are from the 2000s-2010s, which I find disappointing. I love the stuff that mod teams create (the Vigero VL1 and Picador EXR come to mind), but I'd like to see more stuff like that in Vanilla GTA too.

Not necessarily the arena, don't want to much stuff in one place. Maybe bellow one of the warehouses at the airport or under the mall. I don't care about cars at all, not a car guy.
