Davve95
Can I enable in Win 10 somehow so when I'm in a folder and use the search bar, I don't have to hit enter and the results showing up while typing. Like it was on Win 7. I thought it was this at first: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-quick-search-in-folders-on-windows-vista/ But it was not. Mister Pink
On Windows 10 for me it shows the results of the thing closest thing I'm searching for in real-time when in a folder or from the Windows icon search on the bottom left. I never had to enable it. It was the default setting. Sorry I can't help further than that as the How To article seems like it would be right. Davve95
I see. I will see if someone else know. Nah, that article was not about the same thing. But thanks for your reply anyway! Mister Pink
GhettoJesus
I think it has to do with whether the folders are indexed or not. My entire D drive is indexed so when I am searching within the D drive I don't have to hit enter and it shows results. On the other hand only a few folders are indexed on my C drive therefore it only shows results from those indexed folders.
