[GTA SA] Color bug when texturing a model

Hello everyone!

 

I'm editing a model with a texture bug, cause it appears normal texture in zmodeler, but when ingame there's dark spots in some objects as shown in https://imgur.com/iiwgzKF

 

Could anyone help me fixing this in zmodeler2?

@maurisao, post an screenshot showing the model in Zmodeler, another pic showing the materials and another pic showing the materials applied to the parts that have the issue in-game.

 

You can also share your mod here so we can check it. A quick though makes me think that the problem could be a material properties issue or a models lighting issue.

The gray bland mesh does not have specular map in its material.

 

The white material seen on the left doors needs to be copied over to the gray parts.

 

Specular map adds specularity to the mesh, thus rendering its normals. :)

Guys, I'll provide the model download link as soon as I get home tonight.

 

 

Could you try to fix it and inform what's wrong?

What about the walls? As far as I know, if you modify a car's textures, walls' textures shouldn't change. That's why I say something in the game files is messed up. And real bad.

Ah, let me guess. The walls' textures is another mod of yours, Right? One that worked, No?

I don't know how to troubleshoot the car, but I saw the walls' textures were too weird lol

The walls were weird because of a texture model I'm using, but the car problem wasn't related with the map...

 

Anyway the problem is solved, the vehicle author just reposted a new revised model :D
