I know it might just be for show but notice that's a player character sat in the chair in front of the fire with melee weapons on display? I dont think we have seen such a posed picture before.

Hint at properties?

Long week lol. That and no char transfers, of course.

 

Baffles me that I know I'd buy the game (for a second time) tomorrow if they turned on console to PC char transfers, and I know there's likely a bunch of people who would do the same. They're turning down money for no reason, the only argument (to preserve the PC launch experience) is long dead, not that it stood for much at launch as they didn't tighten up the games security from GTAO.

Why would you want to go to PC if you don't have to....with the modder situation and no sign that R* plans on doing anything about it.

You're right! I didn't noticed this before, but that whole scenery isn't possible in the game right now, so it could be a hint

Because I can play the game at max settings 60fps? Cause I don't own a PlayStation anymore?

 

The modding situation sucks, but I'd rather be able to play the character I put hundreds of hours into then not at all. They haven't even offered transfers for the people who swapped between PS <> Xbox with the new-gen launch either. They've shown basically no support to veteran players at all.

Well the fact you don't own a PS means PC would be your only option. I did say if you don't have to play on PC. I didn't ask to be a smart ass. It was just a question.

 

Max settings at 1080, for me, is worse than 90% low settings at 2160 res. I only have texture set at max and a couple other things set on high. 1080 on my monitor, with everything on max doesn't look much better than PS, unless I shrink the game window to 1080 but it's hard for me to see anything when it's that small. I use full screen so it really looks lousy.

 

As far as playing your character, depending on what time of day you play, you won't be able to play it much at all if you hit the times when the Russian and Chinese modders are out and about. Certain times of the day I can't get through 15 minutes without a modder attack.

 

R* has proven over and over that they no longer care about long time players. EVERYTHING is targeted at noobs.

No, that's an actual room with a fireplace he's sat in, notice the chair in the left. We also don't have the weapons table nor the animation for him sharpening the knife while sat down.

It just seems pretty specific with the weapons laid out like they are on a display table and where would we have display tables? Our homes.

Not much care at all from Rockstar about anything at the moment. I bought a PS5 and played RDO as I heard the load times were much quicker which is true but the game actually looks worse (was a blurry mess) than what it did on my PS4 slim, so I'm currently playing RDO again on my PS4. Was too annoying switching HDR off on my TV, switching it off on my PS5, then switching it off on RDO when I might as well just play it on PS4 .
