which mods are best for making game smoother for intel UHD Graphics/iGPU users.

My laptop specs -

core i5 8265U 3.9 GHz

Intel UHD Graphics 620

Ram 8 GB

256 GB SSD+1 TB HDD.

I know the specs are low and not fit for gaming. But I believe it can run GTA IV .

 

I have GTA IV installed and it runs not so smoothly. I know GTA IV is poorly optimized . So tell me what mods or things I should do to make GTA IV run smoothly.

Your specs are adequate for GTAIV.

I'm using 1280x720 and texture, reflection, water on high but shadows turned off. Texture filter on Tri-linear, the other settings i left them around 30 and definition on.
-I get 40+fps even when driving and making chaos around the city.

 

Your UHD 620 mobile iGPU is capable enough (Gen9.5) and with right drivers you should get comparable performance https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005524/graphics.html

 

As reported by Runper latest Intel drivers may have glitches in Vulkan implementation and GTAIV may fail to init graphics on subsequent launches so you should find one that works OK as he did https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
