damn i forgot this one, thats how i obtained my hotknife eventho i didnt have the collectors edition.

Me as well, the only drawback was tou couldnt actually see the car in your garage though it actually held a space.

I remember when in the first days of online, your character was helding his/her phone when using it or when making or receiving a call, it was something cool until you were in the middle of a shooting and Ron or Martin call you regarding those bands in the city that needed taking care of

Remember when random players would drive up to you in freemode honking clown horns (one of the few vehicle mods you could buy early in the game. Possibly combined with the aforementioned chrome tint on an adder).

 

Now I don’t normally attack without being provoked, but if that isn’t asking to be rpg’d, I don’t know what is.

 

You never see that any more. It’s all Buzzards and Broomsticks.

in a way they still do, i can smash up npc cars with my tank (khanjali), and i think you can do it with monster trucks as well.

All original cars and early DLC ones have the models yeah, I did that to a Gresley yesterday. But anything since like F&F or wotnot is made of solid tungsten.

I remember the constant battleground/warzone outside Eclipse Towers, partly the reason I moved out and never went back.

Out of the original heists, Humane Labs was my favourite. Breaking into the heavily guarded facility, the setting up, obtaining the Valkyrie, the Hydra, delivering the EMP, Flying high above the lab, parachting down and finally escaping out the drainage tunnel. Pure excitement.....Until Gunrunning came along and I break into Humane Labs, solo, no prep work, literally shooting my way in and out for a railgun and thinking to myself...what is the point of the Humane Labs Raid if the whole thing can now be done solo in a public session for a 10 minute resupply mission?

Anyone remember the days when vehicle icons were limited, rolling up on someone thinking you were a bad ass only to find em in a tank or flying your buzzard along road ways to hide you were flying.   Or better yet the days when actual gun fights didn’t end with spamming rockets because they were too expensive.

The first few weeks I was playing back in 2013. I had $21,000 on me. I was saving up for my first garage so I could steal a 2nd car.

 

And it was snapped out of existence by a modder. 

 

I was so heart broken. It took me hours to build that up with the sh*tty Simeon missions payouts ($1500 - $2000) and always needing to spend so much on ammo, often more than the mission paid, that I opened a support ticket to R* to try and get it back....

 

I'm no spring chicken. I was in my 30s and I opened a support ticket over $21,000 GTA dollars.

 

Since then I've had 25 MILLION wiped by Rockstar because of the Lester Airport glitch a few years ago and now I'm worth over 300 million.

That and you can't crush the passenger compartments of any vehicle since the ps3/x360 era.
