DS4 doesn't work for me on gta5

I am trying to get my ds4 to work on gta 5 for the past hour, the only time I got it to work was when using ds4windows, but I wanted to use it natively instead of having to use ds4windows

IIRC, V has native DS4 support, but will use 360 icons regardless of what controller you use. Try running the game without DS4Windows, or use Steam's DS4 support instead of that (add V as a non-Steam game if you have the R* Launcher or Epic versions).

I know that it has native ds4 support, but the game is either not detecting or is ignoring the controller.

I just said f*ck it and bought this adapter a while back. I haven't had to worry about using dodgy controller apps ever since.

That solution isn't for me, especially when I can already play the game with other software, but I want to play it with native support, if I don't get this fixed I will just use steam big picture or ds4windows.
