Vehicle disappears from Avenger when leaving facility

Dear forum,

 

today, I bought a facility along with the Avenger and the APC. In multiple videos, I saw that it's possible to board the plane using the APC (within the facility) and then switch to the cockpit to leave the facility. After that, I should be able to use the autopilot and air-drop my APC into the water. Unfortunately, every time I enter the Avenger's hold, the APC is gone. In addition, it sometimes also doesn't work to board the Avenger at all. When I sit in the APC (with the Avenger being present in the facility), I get the prompt to press E to enter, but when pressing, nothing happens and the prompt appears again. 

 

Am I missing something? Or is this a bug? I already researched online, but didn't really find anything regarding this problem.

I don't think it's ever been possible to leave the facility with a vehicle inside.

Hmm good catch. 

Don't know whether this is intended or it's a bug. At first I was thinking maybe you had a personal vehicle out in the world already, so your Avenger vehicle was being returned to the facility in light of that... 
But I've just tried myself now with no active PV, using a Deluxo parked in the Facility to enter the Avenger's Vehicle Workshop, getting out of the Deluxo and into the pilot's seat of the Avenger, leaving the facility, flying somewhere, engaging autopilot and returning into the hold... the Deluxo was gone. 

I guess the question really now is "how long have we not been able to do this?" to perhaps establish if it is a bug, or if it's intentional. 
Of course, Rockstar patch notes don't list every change - which is unfortunate.

Something is definetely wrong, because after entering the empty hold and flying back to the facility, I'm not able to enter the Avenger with my APC. Doesn't matter if I change vehicles, take the avenger or the APC out again and then try... Pressing E just doesn't do anything anymore (inside the facility). I'm already in contact with Rockstar and I also recorded some videos. They didn't state it's normal behaviour, so it seems it's indeed a bug. Let's see what they come up with. 

 

By the way, verifying the game files didn't help.

Yep absolutely, be good to see what they say eventually.

By the way, verifying the game files won't do anything if you're able to connect to an active Online session where there are other people playing.

Yep but they will mostly use copy and paste troubleshooting just to be able to cross that off the list of "what have we tried to fix the problem?"
It makes no sense to verify the game files (which are needed for online play) if you can play online with other players without issues (bugs, glitches, cheats and exploits aside).

Definitely should be able to, all my facility vehicles are ones that go in the Avenger for just this reason. Got a feeling it changed with a DLCor some sh*t, haven't used it in a while.

 

You can just leave the facility in the vehicle and then request Avenger.

Just went to try this and I can't even enter the Avenger in my vehicles, gives me the prompt, thinks out it, gives me the prompt again.

 

So yeah file under borked

 

eta this smells strongly of a duping hotfix, no?

You definatly could do this at some point I used to do it with the Stromberg and Deluxo. I have not tried recently tho so I will do next time I log in.

I remember there being a glitch using the Avenger which allowed you to use blacklisted cars in og heists like flying or sailing vehicles.

Maybe when they patched that it also removed the ability to exit the facility with a car onboard. Or maybe there was a way to dupe using it?
